Normally dead bodies are identified by a wallet, fingerprints or teeth, but when the body of Jasmine Fiore was found, the police had to get a little bit creative. Turns out that the model had all identifying traits removed from her body, except for one very important thing: her breast implants. The serial number on each breast was what helped medical examiners confirm her identity. So, I guess that settles whether or not fake breasts are totally useless.
The man suspected of murdering her, her husband and reality show contestant Ryan Jenkins is still on the loose and US Marshals are currently offering a $250,000 reward for any information that may lead to finding him.

She was so young, she paid a high price for thinking she was in love, this must be killing her mother. Each detail is worse than the last.
This is honestly one of the saddest stories I’ve read in a while. I just can’t wrap my head around the pain her love ones must be going through.

When I first read “$250,000” in your post, I wondered if Jenkins had kidnapped Shilo or Suri. Then, I considered calling up some friends to organize a search posse, with designs of splitting the bounty proceeds, much like one oft sees in classic westerns.
For the record, the US Marshals Service is offering a $25,000 reward for significant information that helps them track down this cretin. Peculiarly, $250,000 is the amount that Jenkins is rumored to have won as the winner of “I Love Money 3”.

I guess some day archaeologists will open up coffins for this generation and see all the silicone sacks and they will use this to determine the generation that you died in.
I wish the press would keep a lid on some information. I did not know breast implants had codes. If I didn’t know, that means others didn’t know. Now that it has been reported in this case, I’ll bet murderers will start removing the implants after they kill. Just my thoughts.
In a scenario that has someone killing someone and mutilating a body by cutting off digits and pulling out teeth before unceremoniously dumping the body, allowing the aspiring murderer to learn that breast implants may be uniquely identifiable might be a tertiary concern.
I don’t really think it would be cost effective in the near future for cops to have told the press on how they identified her body.
Now they might have to resort to dna testing which is more expensive then calling up a local doc for who received what implant
I’m neither a doctor nor a lawyer — though I do play one on YouTube — but I’m pretty sure that identifying the victim via the implants was used for preliminary identification purposes.
DNA testing still needs to be concluded to definitively identify the victim. And an autopsy still needs to be concluded to gain an in-depth insight into how she died.
All his living ex-girlfriends are probably shuttering at the thought that it could have been them.
And for the rest of his ex-girlfriends, sadly enough, it probably WAS them.
this case is so gruesome. I really hope it doesnt get made into a made for tv movie.
