Apparently all the “in love” pics of Sam and Lindsay from NYE were just for show — they were fighting the entire night. Here’s a first-person account from TheDirty:
Lindsay, Sam and I took the same limo to the club. They made the limo driver wait 30 minutes for them to come out. Which made me pissed because I had to wait for it to drop them off. Then I got a call that I had to wait another 15 minutes because Sam and Lindsay were fighting/crying. When I got in the limo it reeked of weed and there was trash from a cigarette pack and some used napkins in it. I got to Mansion and there was so mad chaos between Lindsay and Sam already… Lindsay was doing whatever she wanted and she sat wherever she wanted, screwing up the whole seating chart for the night. She had to go inside fix her makeup before she went back out to do red carpet. When I got there, I went to the red carpet and Lindsay finally came out and acted like nothing was wrong and nothing happened and smiled for the cameras. Her people pushed me aside.
The “happy” pictures that are circulating of the them on the internet are complete BS. Lindsay walked over to the DJ booth for the countdown to midnight and Sam and her smiled for the cameras for all of 30 seconds. When the photographers were told to move from the stage everything went back to them fighting.
I was in the booth on stage next to Lindsay and all night she kept going back and forth to the DJ booth yelling at Sam asking when she would be done so she could spend time with her. Then she’d go back to her table and start texting on her blackberry. I didn’t see her drink, but she definitely didn’t look sober. Sam was cool about it all.
When I started talking to Sam, Lindsay came up and started yelling at me “That’s my girlfriend. I love her!” and thought I was trying to steal her woman. I was trying to tell her to chill out, but she was out of it (high in my opinion). She started yelling at Sam telling her she wanted her gone and then she told all the security that she wanted Sam out of there. Sam told me not to worry about Lindsay because she’s nuts. Lindsay yelled at Sam again and Sam flipped her off. That totally pissed off Lindsay and she wound up leaving the club with some dude with long black hair, a blonde chick and a brunette chick. Sam was left there by herself and I felt kinda bad for her. Sam jetted not too much lomger after leaving the DJ’ing to some random dude. So, in my opinion they broke up on New Years. I decided.
Judging by this video, it looks like Lindsay is the insane one in the relationship while Sam is trying to keep everything cool. That doesn’t surprise me at all.

That was nothing! Besides if they’re going to have a fight, let them do it without somebody sticking a camera in they’re faces. Yeah, people have arguments, but it’s also nobody business, it’s not interesting to the public, we only know about these two we don’t know them, this is one of the things that screwed up about people the way they always want to air dirty laundry. Except Lindsay & Sam for being a couple and move on!
You can’t discern anything about Lindsay and Sam from those videos. C’mon beet, post quality or don’t post anything at all.
i totally agree. Lindsay is upset but not with Samantha it’s clearly from the video.
It’s not exactly what I would call a fight….
I think that with the issues with her dad, it’s not surprising that Lindsay would have some serious issues with relationships. I feel like her wanting Sam to spend time with her wherein Linds isn’t following her around on her DJ gigs isn’t a lot to ask. Most of us would probably get pissy as well.

Are we watching the same videos? It doesn’t look like Lindsay’s just trying to be heard over the music. Her stance and body language are too aggressive. And if you pay attention, twice Lindsay tries to storm off and Samantha clearly tugs on her hands to hold her back. Another clue they (or at the very least Lindsay, since Samantha seems all nonchalant) were arguing, the guy in the first video just shrugs, as if he’s not sure why Lindsay was angry or yelling. He then tried to talk to Samantha about something and Lindsay starts yelling at him. I’d say there’s a pretty good chance these two are heading for a break up soon sometime in ’09. Too dysfunctional.
I feel bad for sam =( she wasnt doing something wrong at all …just working and the thing that she left the club alone is mean …i think lindsay is too emotional or she is every second high …or shes acting that way because she got obssesed or something like that with sam….but thats not the way to treat somebody….whatever….i hope things get alright..
sam looks like a sweetheart, no wonder lindsay likes her. i like how even though lindsay’s in a bad mood, sam still acts mature and a “gentleman”, for a lack of a better word.
It does seem like the conversation could just as easily been L: “Dude, I’m totally jonesing for a burrito.” S: “Yeah, me too.”

yeah she looks worked up about something but she could just be very animated. or coked up. maybe she is rehashing a story about something someone just did or said to her. who knows.

That’s what I thought as well; she could have been telling Sam about something that had just occurred and had pissed her off – – who knows, maybe someone was an ‘asshole’, and now she wanted to get gone. That kind of scene happens all the time – – like a friend or loved one will storm up to you and proceed to tell you about their day in an extremely angry manner, but none of the anger is actually directed toward you
Im sorry, some of you are being rediculous. if you want concrete evidence about a story go to CNN. dont act like you are looking for credibility its GOSSIP after all..you know rumors and such? Dont be crusty to beet for putting that video on her site. you obviously watched it!

Sam was Djing at on of her step brothers clubs-half her family was there- so i very much doubt she was left all alone at the end of the evening. this guy sounds like he has some issues with LL and “her people”, pretty sure he made the report as juicy as he has the imagination for- and lol at empty cig packs and tissues and the smell of weed- is that meant to be scandalous?
Sam’s 32 and comes from a normal family, Lindsay is 21 in her first real adult relationship after 3 stabs at rehab. She’s clearly the one not doing well, also this is a person who’s entire personal life, since she was a kid, has been nothing but chaos. Acting normally is nothing something Lindsay has any life skills at doing. Thanks mom and dad! It’s sad but at some point Sam is just going to get worn out, and bail. Lindsay will go into an even worse downward spiral and go out like her idol Marilyn Monroe. It’s like a car wreck in slo-mo.
No, didn’t see a fight, saw people leaning over each other talking, people walking away, coming back. I watched the videos a few times – hoping that I’d see the “aggressive body language” that Jennifer (above) wrote about…

Of course if you team the vids with the Dirty report you could maybe mentally create something part way towards saying that they weren’t having a great time…but…personally I just can’t see it.
thats not really a fight lindsay seemed upset, but she could be upset about anything, if it was a real fight samantha was too cool about it…

Give Lindsay a bit of money, a loyal greedy and foolish friend and any freedom to act out and she’s a bully bitch, just because she can be.. Party all the time and staying just there high but not wasted, eating junk food or starving, getting just enough drunk, and wearing freebies and getting great discounts on her material desires isn’t very productive to happiness., when you want to be oblivious; but then Sam has to moniter this brat so she won’t die, keep her from breaking the law, but slightly happy with favors, travel and perks so she makes her own money and gains fame in the barter. I don’t believe for one minute Lindsay is settled down with Sam.. because she knows Lindsay just drifting along with her until the next best thing comes along and Sam will be so grateful when that happens.
I dont think they were fighting. Seems like Lindsey was complaining about something. Maybe about all the cameras constantly filming them…
Page Six New York Post has the fight continuing to the dirty alley, their hotel room, into the hallway etc. And both their parents were at the club too.
