Who doesn’t love a bit of the ol’ Tucc? Seriously, Stanley Tucci is so loveable and such a great actor that you can’t help but think he’s great. Emily Blunt‘s sister Felicity sure did, as they’ve been together since meeting in 2006 on the set of The Devil Wears Prada, got married in 2012 and are now expecting their first child together!
Hazel Krasinski is getting a playmate! Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt, Emily Blunt’s sister, are expecting their first child together. The Hunger Games actor confirmed the news exclusively to Us Weekly while attending the Mario Batali Foundation Dinner at Del Posto in NYC on Sunday, Oct. 19.
“I’m very excited to be a dad. It’s incredible,” Tucci, 53, told Us at the event. “I’m most excited to have a baby with Felicity and for the baby to be healthy.”
“The sex is of no concern to me,” he added, with a laugh. “The sex of the baby, that is.” As for what kind of mother Blunt will be? “A great one!” he gushed.
ADORABLE. I don’t know why I find it so cute, I just do. Go with it. Yay!
The second Hunger Games film, Catching Fire, isn’t hitting theatres until November… but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited about it now! After all, this weekend at Comic-Con, a new trailer will be released and no doubt the internet will go insane once someone uploads a shitty iPhone video of it to YouTube. If you can’t wait for all that excitement, though, you’re in luck! The new series of character posters have been released, and they’re awesome!
Oh, man – not sure if you know this, but Benedict Cumberbatch is playing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in the upcoming film The Fifth Estate, alongside Daniel Brühl as Daniel Domscheit-Berg. Sounds like a rip-roaring time, eh? I’m sure it’ll be an interesting “thriller” for the critics, but holy hell, it sounds boring.
Laura Linney, Stanley Tucci, Dan Stevens and Alicia Vikander are also in the movie, which opens in October. Will you see this shit show? Did this movie come about a year too late? Can Stanley Tucci save this movie like he’s saved so many others? Does anyone care?
I loved The Hunger Games book trilogy, and while I thought the movie was only good rather than great (as most big screen adaptations of books tend to be, unfortunately), I’m pretty pumped for the second installment, Catching Fire, that’s due to hit theatres in November. Plus, the visual effects, costumes and make-up are fantastic, which makes the artwork/promotional posters a lot of fun to look at. Check out the new shot of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen above, and then scroll through some others below.
