I tried not to make that headline too click baity, but there are only a few details coming out and we’re not sure if the shooting was related to Drakes house or not. Here’s what we know.
Last night around 2am police were called to a shooting in the mega wealthy neighborhood where Drakes 50,000 square foot home is located.
When the police arrived they found a man wounded and a suspect had fled. Reports are that the mansion itself is taped off, which is what is leading people to suspect it’s directly related to Drake.
Police haven’t commented further on the case at this point.
However, a police source said early details from the initial call suggest the victim was a security guard at the home who appears to have been shot in a drive-by attack.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the upper chest and was unconscious when officers arrived, according to the initial report.
The victim was taken to hospital via emergency run, where he underwent surgery.
