Dina Lohan Arrested For Super Drunk Driving

Dina Lohan was arrested for drunk driving. Wow, I don’t think anyone saw this coming. I saw a tweet that was something like, “A celebrity’s parent got arrested” and I just knew. Dina was super drunk — twice the legal limit. Here’s more from TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan’s 50-year-old mother was pulled over on the Northern State Parkway by New York State Police around 11 pm Thursday night … after she was allegedly going 77mph in a 55 in her white BMW.

During the stop, cops say she appeared intoxicated — and tested her blood alcohol level, which registered at .20 — more than twice the legal limit of .08.

According to officials, “Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest” … but when medical personnel responded to the scene and determined she was fine, Dina “recanted her claim.”

Lohan was hauled to a nearby station where she was booked on two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of speeding.

She was pulled over in Long Island, Billy Joel‘s favorite place and home to his motorcycle crash.

Daughter Lindsay is famously recovering from her alcohol addiction and apparently didn’t know her mom was arrested until she found out this morning, like the rest of us. Man, I don’t think Lindsay’s taken a mugshot that bad (above). Of course there’s so many to choose from.

Bet Dina thinks this is her big chance to shop her sad story on talk shows everywhere. Hope she doesn’t get the opportunity.

  • A blood-alcohol level of .20 is about 4 glasses of wine for someone her size. Not sure why I’m mentioning that, but whatever.

    • Uh, if you look up what BAC level someone her size (i’m assuming she’s between 100 and 120 lbs) would have to consume to get to .20, she’s looking at having between 6 – 8 drinks in her system.

Look at any BAC level chart and you’ll see you’re pretty trashed at .20.

      Glad she was caught.

      • Well, anything more than a glass turns you into a risk. She’s lucky that getting caught was the only thing that happened.
