Britney Spears is headed to Las Vegas, and I told y’all. She talked about how psyched she is about it in Shape magazine (source: I read Shape magazine on airplanes) but people are having doubts that she can handle such a major commitment. From Metro:
The Oops!… I Did It Again star is reportedly preparing for a string of shows at Planet Hollywood Resort and at a casino in Sin City.
But concerns are growing from within Brit’s camp that she won’t be able to handle the pressures of delivering a knock out show day after day.
‘There is little chance that she can actually do this,’ a source close to the star told Fox News’ FOX411 team.
‘The stress of a daily public appearance and the physical nature of a show could overwhelm her for sure.’
Friends and family would have reason to be anxious for Spears after she suffered a very public breakdown in 2008 and her mental health could crumble again.
‘As the show comes closer, she may start to fall apart. It’s definitely a concern,’ the source added.
First of all, no one even MENTIONED the delicious buffet in Planet Hollywood, and that’s definitely a major concern for me. But that’s neither here nor there. I can understand why “Brit’s camp” would be concerned about these shows, but Brit’s been under conservatorship for quite some time now and there’s no way she could have signed off on this on her own, so clearly someone thinks she’s ready. It’s a huge commitment ut I think it will be the best thing for her. She’ll have a regular job, everything scheduled, no surprises, a huge support team, and she’ll be doing what she loves to do most.
Positive thoughts, people. I really, really want to see Britney in Vegas because the buffet!!!
