The prop gun that Harrison Ford used in his role of Han Solo in the 1977 film Star Wars sold for over $1 million at an auction last week.

The iconic 'blaster,' a converted Mauser pistol modified to only shoot blanks, is the last of three created for use in the film.

According to the Rock Island Auction company that hosted the event, the DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol was expected to secure a bid of around $500,000. Still, an avid fan exceeded their projections at $1,057,000 to win.

The pop duo Milli Vanilli was a sensation for a hot minute in the 80's till the world learned their secret. They weren't actually singing at all.  Rather lip syncing to other artists. They were shamed by everyone and forced to return their Grammy.  And then essentially chased into hiding. Now a film about their crazy experience is being produced and we've got the first look at the two playing the infamous pair. Lead actors Tijan Njie and Elan Ben Ali appear in the new photo as Robert Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan, the faces of the ill-fated group.   Matthias Schweighöfer will star as Milli Vanilli producer Frank Farian in the Leonine Studios- and Wiedemann & Berg–produced film, currently titled Girl You Know It's True, Named for one of their biggest hits. Girl You Know It's True does not have a release date yet, but it is expected to film in Munich, Berlin, Capetown, and Los Angeles before wrapping in December. "I'm tired of people thinking I'm some kind of joke," Radcliffe's Yankovic says in the trailer, before confessing his lifelong dream to his friends. "My whole life, all I've wanted, is to make up new words to a song that already exists."

From there, we see the Yankovic begin to craft "My Bologna," his 1983 parody of The Knack's 1979 hit "My Sharona."
