Early last year, news broke that actor Joseph Fiennes would be portraying Michael Jackson in a British television dramedy called Urban Myths about three celebrities escaping from New York City during 9/11. The episode is called Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon, because it follows Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson and Marlon Brando desperately trying to escape NYC on September 11th. Airs on the BBC.
The story is, if you didn’t know, a small urban legend and never happened. But I don’t want to bury the lede here. The controversy was over the choice to cast white actor Joseph Fiennes as black man Michael Jackson.
But now… now we see the terrifying and crazy looking monster that the show created to represent the king of pop.
