Caitlyn Jenner is still discovering her likes and dislikes now that she’s embraced herself as a woman, and that means working out what her personal style is. She’s pretty lucky in that she’s a millionaire with endless amounts of money to buy whatever she wants, get her hair and makeup done all the time, etc. But what does Caitlyn like, and who is she inspired by? Angelina Jolie, of course.
In last week’s episode of I Am Cait, Caitlyn got stylist Jen Rade in to help get her ready for her Espy Awards speech because Rade works with Jolie.
“I just love her look,” Caitlyn said. “Very casual, very elegant, chic.”
I suppose Jolie is a pretty good style icon to have. She always looks great on the red carpet, but I don’t think she particularly stands out in that sense. Then again, I think that’s the point – Caitlyn wants to be a bit of a wallflower at the moment, so maybe she just wants to look nice instead of wanting to get a bunch of attention for her appearance.
Who’s your style icon? I don’t really know that I have one, to be honest – I don’t pay enough attention to stuff like that, really. Maybe Kate Winslet? She’s pretty eternally flawless…
