Caitlyn Jenner Still Thinks That Car Crash She Caused Was No Big Deal

Oh, Caitlyn Jenner. Why do you make it so hard to like you sometimes? In early 2015, Jenner caused a serious accident on a Los Angeles freeway that resulted in the death of a 69-year-old woman and injured five others. The family of the woman who died are filing a wrongful death lawsuit against Jenner, who was clearly at fault (a lawsuit with she wants thrown out, of course), but until this thing goes to court, Caitlyn isn’t really all that concerned about it, which is clear enough in her half-assed comments about the tragedy in a new interview with Matt Lauer.

“I remember it happening, but that’s about it,” Jenner said. “A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.” She then stressed that contrary to reports, she was driving below the speed limit. “My airbag didn’t even go off.”

The maximum penalty Jenner faces is a year spent in a men’s county jail. “It is an enormous problem that they would put trans women in a men’s county jail,” she said. “That is the worst case scenario.”

Still, she understands that she has been treated well since her transition, which is not the norm for trans people, and enjoys living life as herself.

So basically her biggest concern is not going to jail? Of course, I do agree that trans women being put in a male prison is a dangerous and inappropriate situation, but how can you be so blase about something so serious? “I’ll never forget it… but actually I don’t remember anything about it, so…”??? Please stop interviewing Caitlyn Jenner for a while, people.
