Amanda Seyfried has always struck me as a little out of touch/pretty weird, and her latest quotes to US Weekly just kinda confirmed that. The heads and tails? Instagram sux and Taylor Swift rulez!
“[Younger people] spend the entire day on Instagram, and they also take pictures of themselves and post them all the time with a veiled brag,” she told Us Weekly. “It’s sad.”
That said, who is her favorite Instagram-savvy hipster?
“Taylor Swift is pretty hip,” Seyfried said. “She seems pretty honest. I think that’s hip. She’s promoting knowing yourself, and that’s the best idol.”
Kewl story, Amanda. Especially since you’re only 29 but you’re still talking about “younger kids” like you’re totally detached from your peer group. Teens are definitely a hot mess on Instagram, but the worst offenders, I think, are 20-somethings. Her whole manner of speaking is just so bizarre. Is she a robot?
That being said, I bet TaySwift’s Google alert went off and she’s already called Amanda and invited her to be part of her friendship posse. Countdown to pics of them together…
