  • The only state in which I know of that being illegal is California, though I am sure that there are others with silly laws. In most states, 16 is the age of consent, so a 16-year-old can sleep with a 20-year-old, and a 17-year-old with a 21-year-old.

    It’s all pretty silly, since, say, a 15-year-old still cannot sleep with an 18-year-old, legally, even though they might be in the same classes at school.

    • um actually I thought it’s illegal in ALL states if you are under 18 and you do it with someone over 18. age of consent is different.

    • No, age of consent means that there is a certain range in which it is allowed, but there is no such thing (legally) as consensual sex with a person under the age of consent.

      But . . . check with your local laws before acting on this. Each state is different.
