Which Sounds Better? Beyonce Singing or a Cat Being Hit By a Car?

Beyonce wrapped up her London tour with a duet performance of “If I Were A Boy” with George Michael.

It was nice of George to take a hiatus from exposing himself in bathrooms and doing drugs in parks, and all, but I have to ask:  Does this version of “IIWAB” really sound that much better than the hoax recording of Beyonce from a few months ago?

  • I actually liked it… her background singer was stepping all over it in the middle…but George sounded good too, as much as you could make with the sound here… she looks great too; if George were a boy, it might have even been sexy.

  • I liked it and I thought the whole feeling was very positive and fun. I even wished I was there cuz it looks like a lot of fun.

  • wendie dont be an IDIOT…that was obviously not a very clear recording. gawsh! Beyonce is talented.

  • I still like the ORIGINAL version of this song…you know from the girl Beyonce STOLE the song from!

  • Beyoncé sounds great in this! She’s probably one of the only singers that can actually /sing/ live.

The only funny/bad thing about this was George singing the wrong lyric at one point. xD

  • I thought she sounded great! ….a questionable wardrobe choice, for sure, but she sounded great!

  • I thought she sounded great. If you listen to bootlegs, they never sound that good. But she sounded – AND LOOKED – great.

  • I loved it! Beyonce is amazing. At least she always sings live unlike Brit Brit! And she can dance-also unlike washed up Brit Brit!!

  • ok, now you’re being stupid wendie. beyonce sounds great. she has genuine talent. so back off already.

  • I think Wendie has a point. if you actually listen to her sing, she’s all style and little tone. So many singers are like this now…Beyonce tries to make up for her lack of musical talent (i.e. sense of rhythm, and pitch, and consistent tone quality) by amping up the (genuinely) powerful and fierce sound of her voice. If she was singing a Capella in front of you, she would sound more like roadkill than a true vocal talent.
