Hello my loves!!!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you!!!
Although I am single, I have felt so very loved today. I’m still sick, but my little animals (Leo, Josie, Max and Ashley), have refused to leave my side through all three days of being sick today! Plus I have had a bunch of friends call or text to see if there was anything I needed, or if I just wanted company. (Thank you Trish, Emily, Heather and Gayle!!) I can’t believe I’ve lived in Seattle for less than a year and I have already formed the kind of friendships where people are willing to go out of their way (on Valentine’s Day!!) to take care of me when I’m sick. I am such a lucky girl.
PLUS, I have all of you guys, and for that I am exceptionally grateful. I just have the most awesomest readers on this blog, and I love how you guys talk so openly about your own lives and are so encouraging to me. I asked you yesterday to post stories about how you met your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse, and you certainly delivered. I have read EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM and will continue to read them as you post them (the thread is here). I am just so grateful for your comments and your suggestions and your affirmations. I am actually making a list of your suggestions, and I am going to try every single one of them. I also can’t tell you how much it means to have so many of you tell me that I will find a great relationship and that I’m worth holding out for the right guy. It gives me so much encouragement to read your amazing stories and to discover how so many of you have found true and lasting love. I also smiled at the person who suggested I keep my eyes open for loves of both sexes … hey, I always said if Lindsay Lohan asked, I’d say yes! Ha ha! No, seriously though, I really like dick. (But, Lindsay, I could never say no to you! Call me!)
Oh, and a special thank you to my very first Valentine and true friend to this day, Kevin, for introducing me to the source of these Valentine’s Day graphics (someecards.com) by sending me a card years ago that said “Sorry I came in your hair.”

Keep the advertisements coming…someone has to keep the Real Network corporation from going bankrupt.
