For you avid readers, you’ll notice I deleted the once funny, now weird, comment from my original post today. I’m fairly certain this blog doesn’t control the universe, so I don’t think I “jinxed” anything, but I of course noted the terrible coincidence and didn’t want you to think I was censoring all over the place.

I was taken aback with the news about the death of Heath Ledger. I enjoyed so many of his works. The raw talent and the instant sex appeal that illuminated from his work. So enjoyable to see some one on stage enjoying their craft. But with all of being human, we have many choices, even if they are bad for us. I think that this was a choice he wouldnt of embarked on, if his blue moods were not attached to his life. He will be missed, and kept in so many hearts…He made a very good impact while he was here. Thank you Heath for the time you spent with all of us. God Bless Dawn

Wish there was a way to turn back the clock Heath…and stop this from happening… One of the most talented and promising actors… so many images left unseen, so many emotions left to portray. And on top of it all, you seemed to be a genuine, nice and real person..
Like I said: wish I could turn back the clock and stop this from being true… Heath, you were unquestionably, steadily on my top 5: the chart where I place actors who win my heart – talent is the most splendorous thing… All the movies you won’t make, the maturing you won’t undergo… I wish I could still watch you when we were both in our 60’s… Wish there was a way.
For some reason, ever since I heard the shocking news, Gustavo Santaolalla’s “The Wings†from Brokeback’s soundtrack is playing in my head and won’t stop… Probably because it’s so sad, and so beautiful, and reminds me of you…
Rest in peace, Heath.

I recently lost a brother to an accidental drug overdose. Such a sad & tragic event and I know the shock and agony it brings to the family.
My thoughts are with Heath’s family and those closest to him at this extraordinarily painful time. Hopefully they will pull together to weather the tragedy.

If in fact his death is related to Rx sleeping pills, it is just another case of failed US drug policy. If the US would decriminalize marijuana MANY of theses deaths would be avoided. Marijuana helps in so many ways-it eases depression, lessens anxiety & HELPS YOU SLEEP amongst many other things!
What a shame to lose this caliber of talent, especially in such a senseless manner.

Um yeah, Bossip is ridiculous but don’t even go to their URL so they don’t get hits. Their headline is â€IN WHITE FOLKS NEWS: HEATH LEDGER DIES FROM ROCKS!†(implying crack/cocaine overdose which I don’t know where the hell they get their facts from.) They cross the line on a regular basis. EB, you should take them off your list of cohorts. They totally suck. I swear to God, Evil Beet is the only website like this that I go to because it’s clever as hell. Fuck all the other bullshit. R.I.P Heath!!!xoxo

I agree. Bossip was completely tasteless!!! They’re trying so hard to be a “black gossip” site that they think they have to sensationalize a simple story by trying to indicate that cocaine was the cause of death.
It was truly disgusting and I wouldn’t mind if Heath’s family sued them. It’s not like they’re going to, but Bossip should re-evaluate how they’re dividing races and their distribution of news with offensive headlines and fabricated stories.
They would have been better off not mentioning Heath at all.

You do realize that he was an artist that died of an drug overdose? Not exactly surprised from here and not particularly sad although I liked Candy. Some of you stans are blowing it a pinch out of proportion.
Heath Ledger was my hero, he was an awesum aussie actor, n it also felt like i knew him myself.
