Anne Hathaway actually blew me away with her punk transformation for the Costume Institute Gala for the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum (or Met Gala for short). Doesn’t she look great as a blonde? Every year celebs dress to the hilt for the event for whatever the theme is. This year, it’s punk. So keep that in mind when looking at these photos — these looks are supposed to be crazy and over the top.
BEST: Anne Hathaway, January Jones, Sienna Miller
WORST: Almost everyone else, but especially Kerry Washington, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kim Kardashian and honestly there were so many more I couldn’t even deal with.
PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY: Miley Cyrus and Anne Hathaway
Check it out!
Word on the street is that Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge, London’s version of… I don’t know, an American celeb couple that no one really cares about, are no longer just partners in love and baby-making. They’ll now be working together on a new project: being the faces of Burberry.
From The New York Post:
Sienna Miller and her fiancé, Tom Sturridge, have been signed for a new Burberry campaign, a source tells Page Six. The pair joins the ranks of the brand’s current and former faces Cara Delevingne, Emma Watson, Kate Moss and Romeo Beckham. Speculation was that Bradley Cooper’s gal pal, model Suki Waterhouse, may be another new Burberry face. Reps for the English line chose not to comment. Sources said they usually announce their autumn/winter ad talent lineups in July.
I don’t really have many feelings on this one, to be honest. They’re both moderately good looking people who happen to be English, so if the Burberry shoe fits, they should probably wear it, no?
Seriously, it’s even weirder than that picture right there ^^.
See, Sienna Miller thought it’d be a good idea to pull a Demi Moore, but instead of covering up her engorged privates with puffy hands, she decided it’d be better off to just show the world what she looks like in her last trimester. Which, hey, is totally fine. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and it should be admired. However, the thing about the whole thing that sort of creeps me out is the weird Andy Warhol-vibe that I’m getting from the design of the photo. Kind of scary, if you ask me, and it makes me think think that a Sienna Miller’s going to give birth to a bucket of paint or a can of soup rather than a beautiful little baby. Which is weird.
But hey. Jump in to see the NSFW version of the photo, and don’t blame me if you
