“I had to sing ‘Call Me Irresponsible’ in front of 20 million people, and the first thing I saw when I got on stage was Simon. I sang about four lines and he looked at me and did this [he rolls his eyes] and that was it, I was done. It killed me. My confidence dropped. Maybe Cheryl Cole gets a little quiet and more demure when she loses her confidence. But I become aloof. I get the attitude of, ‘Oh really? Well, f*ck you. You don’t like me? Then go f*ck yourself. I’m just gonna do whatever’.”
That would be Michael Buble on performing for Simon and company back in 2007 on American Idol. Looks to me here that we’ve got ourselves a *cocky, mouthy sonofabitch, huh? I mean, I like Michael Buble’s music, and I think he’s pretty talented (I *actually* just bought his new Christmas album, ’cause I like JAZZY CHRISTMAS STANDARDS), but I also think he’s a little too big for his britches. It’s not like he’s f*cking Elvis or anything, Jaysus. Have some grace, dude.
*Also, yes, I realize that I, too, am a cocky, mouthy sonofabitch, and normally I’d relate to the Boob here, but I’m not the one with billions of fans worldwide that I have to make happy, now, am I? Last, I’ve seen his stage performances – I’d roll my eyes, too.

Michael Buble is just … OK, let’s face it: he’s not hot. He’s way talented, and I like a lot of his music (especially his Christmas renditions), and he might be a perfectly nice guy when he’s not slamming women with misogynistic labels like “bitch,” which I’d normally be OK with, but something about him publicly bashing Kim Kardashian just didn’t really settle all that well with me, truth be told. He also allegedly cheated on one of the sweetest girls in the world, Emily Blunt, time and time and time again, so there’s also that. I don’t know. I’m not saying that this Luisana Lopilato is with him for any other reasons than pure, unadulterated love, but Michael Buble – to me – is not exactly a prize.
She’s awfully pretty, though, huh?

Are you guys into Michael Buble at all? I can’t be sure because while I very rarely read any news about him, in a certain circle of friends of mine, he is considered a god. He is a god who walks among us lowly humans and gives us all the magical gift of his song.
But just in case you don’t feel that way, here’s a lovely little story about a recent Buble concert in which the god himself didn’t hold back on telling his audience how he really felt about the Kardashian katastrophe:
Recently wed crooner Michael Buble ripped into Kim Kardashian onstage at a recent iHeartRadio Live concert in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood.
According to the New York Post, Buble, 36, pranked his audience at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater when he announced “Please welcome Kim Kardashian [to the stage].” After audible gasps in the audience, he retorted, “Nah, just f*cking with you! That bitch isn’t coming on my stage.”
He dedicated the next song in his set, Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good,” to Kardashian’s future ex-husband Kris Humphries.
“She hurt him, she hurt him! I wish she had hurt me!” crooned the Grammy winner.
You love him now, right? I knew you would!

“I’ll go home and I’ll curl up in a ball and I’ll cry. I’m not kidding. I’ll just cry.”
Michael Buble, on his breakup with actress Emily Blunt, whom he calls “a substantial person and amazing still … Top girl. Top class.”
Awwwwwwww.
Tear.
