2014 is certainly shaping up to be Lupita Nyong’o‘s year, and thank goodness for that – she’s divine! She’s already won an Oscar and signed on as the new face of Lancôme, and now she’s got another honour: she’s People’s Most Beautiful Woman!
Though she grew up thinking that “light skin and flowing, straight hair” made women desirable, World’s Most Beautiful Woman Nyong’o, 31, tells PEOPLE that her mother “always said I was beautiful. And I finally believed her at some point.” The Oscar winner, who’s now a face of Lancôme Paris, is excited for this honor in part because of “all the girls who would see me … and feel a little more seen.”
Good for her! Even though this whole feature is cornball city and only furthers the idea that ladies need to be physically attractive, yada yada. But that’s a tale as old as time, so let’s just embrace this, I suppose. Also, let’s appreciate that Pink is on this list, as is Kerry Washington. Some of the other choices are a bit… incorrect, but whatever.

Kerry Washington is a gorgeous woman – and an incredibly talented one, as well. She’s also very pregnant at the moment, so of course her red carpet style has changed along with her body for this awards season, and that can be a great thing! The dress she wore to the 66th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday, however, was an absolute disaster and made me (and many others, I’m sure) wonder what in the hell her stylist (and the actress herself) was thinking.
This dress shouldn’t even be called a dress. It’s like someone pulled down the curtains, wrapped it around her and sent her on her way. Here it is from the front:
This is an Oscar de la Renta number, which is sorta crazy since his stuff is usually really classy and quite flattering. Not so on this one.

The SAG Awards is probably the most “meh” of all awards shows, am I right? Still, that’s no reason to ignore the fashion. Why? Because it’s fun. Here are some looks from the 20th Annual SAG Awards. Let’s go through and pick the looks for BEST, WORST, and WTF.
For more awards show fashion, check out the Golden Globes Awards post.
I don’t think Amanda Peet knows how to dress anymore. This is something I’d expect from Chloë Sevigny, and I don’t even know if she could pull this off. It’s just so…fug. I’m sorry, I know “fug” is played-out, but I cannot summon any other words to accurately describe this dour mess.

The Golden Globes happened last night and man, what a trainwreck! People were drunk and cursing all over the place. And Clooney wasn’t even there.
But you know what was there? The best, worst, and most WTF celebrity fashion had to offer. Let’s take a look through all these GG outfits and pick out which ones were deserving of BEST, WORST, and WTF.
