It was just the day before that Justin posted a video of the couple in a cab. Justin sings happy birthday quietly to himself as he pans to show us the mrs has fallen asleep on the ride. They're so cute I could puke.

Mariah Carey shakes off boycott calls for her Saudi concert

Mariah Carey, one of the world’s most celebrated artists, is performing in Saudi Arabia on Thursday for the first time, but there’s a growing chorus of Saudi women calling on her to cancel the concert to show support for detained women’s rights activists.

Carey is the highest-profile star to perform in the kingdom since it began loosening decades of restrictions on entertainment.

But activists say her concert is an attempt by the government to polish its image after the Oct. 2 killing of Saudi critic Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

Carey’s publicists told the Associated Press in a statement that when “presented with the offer to perform for an international and mixed gender audience in Saudi Arabia, Mariah accepted the opportunity as a positive step towards the dissolution of gender segregation.”

“As the first female international artist to perform in Saudi Arabia, Mariah recognizes the cultural significance of this event and will continue to support global efforts towards equality for all,” the statement said, adding that Carey looks forward to bringing inspiration and encouragement to all audiences.

Omaima Al-Najjar, a Saudi woman who fled the kingdom to seek political refuge abroad, said the concerts are a diversion from the Saudi-led war in Yemen against the neighboring country’s Houthi rebels, human rights abuses committed under the crown prince and repressive male guardianship laws that restrict women’s freedoms.

“The Saudi government is using entertainment to distract the people from human rights abuses because it can sense the anger among the public,” she said. Al-Najjar is a co-founder of Women for Rights in Saudi Arabia, or WARSA, which launched a petition calling on Carey to boycott the country.

Activists are tweeting at Carey directly, urging her to take notice of the prominent Saudi women’s rights activists imprisoned since May who had long campaigned for social changes and women’s empowerment. The women, who include activists in their 20s as well as mothers, grandmothers and retired professors, have been accused of vague national security violations in connection with their human rights work.

Alia al-Hathloul called on Carey to remember her sister, Loujain al-Hathloul, who she says has been abused and threatened with death while in detention because of her activism, which included defying the kingdom’s ban on women driving before it was lifted last year.

“Remember, thanks to my sister @LoujainHathloul, you r able to perform in Saudi Arabia. I wish she can attend your concert. But she’s locked behind bars because she tried to improve women’s condition. Don’ forget to thank her on stage,” she wrote to Carey on Twitter.

Cardi B and Offset are back on!

Cardi B is reportedly back together with her beau and baby daddy Offset.

The rapper, who shares six-month-old daughter Kulture with the fellow musician, is said to have returned to the home they share in Atlanta as they rebuild their relationship following the cheating scandal which erupted last month.

TMZ report the couple are rebuilding their relationship just a month after leaked text messages appeared to show Offset organising a threesome with two women - leading to the 'No Groupie' rule which is helping their renewed romance.

Just last week, Cardi, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, tweeted saying: 'I wanna go home', shortly before Offset 'proved himself' to his wife, who he wed in 2017.

After changing his number, he has reportedly proved he is serious about their union - with his new phone number being strictly for business and Cardi.

Nick Cannon temporarily taking over ‘The Wendy Williams Show’

“The Wendy Williams Show” is getting a temporary new host.

Nick Cannon will take over the show on Feb. 4, Feb. 5 and Feb. 6. He’ll be continuing Wendy Williams‘ signature segment, “Hot Topics.”

Earlier this month, Williams’ family announced that she was still recovering from her fractured shoulder and also had to be hospitalized as a result of symptoms from her Graves’ disease.

“Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being,” the statement read.

A source told Page Six at the time, “Staff at [Williams’] show are eager to get back to work. We are all hoping she is well. The mood at the set is good … We just want Wendy to get better.”

Distributor and producer Debmar-Mercury previously announced that the show would feature a variety of hosts starting the week of Jan. 28.

Williams, 54, fractured her shoulder in December and then worried fans when she slurred her words on-air. She later apologized and blamed the painkillers she was taking to treat her fracture.

Gwyneth Paltrow is sued for $3.1M for leaving ski crash victim

A Utah doctor has filed a lawsuit accusing Gwyneth Paltrow of seriously injuring him in a 'hit-and-run' crash at a swank Park City ski resort in 2016, and is demanding damages in excess of $3.1 million.

Sanderson says in the complaint that neither Paltrow or the instructor alerted ski patrol after abandoning him, and he was left stranded and alone with brain damage and four broken ribs on the side of the mountain.

Reps for Paltrow dismissed the filing as being 'without merit' and said their client expects to be 'vindicated' in the case.

Her lawyers meanwhile have stated that Paltrow was downhill at the time of the crash, meaning that she had the right of way.

A Utah doctor has filed a lawsuit accusing Gwyneth Paltrow of seriously injuring him in a 'hit-and-run' crash at a swank Park City ski resort in 2016, and is demanding damages in excess of $3.1 million.

Optometrist Terry Sanderson, 72, says in a complaint that was filed on Tuesday that Paltrow was skiing with an instructor at Deer Valley when she lost control and slammed into him from behind.

'I heard this hysterical scream and instantaneous I got hit in the back,' said Sanderson at a press conference on Tuesday.

Paltrow then proceeded to get up and ski away according to the legal filing, without checking on Sanderson or offering any assistance to the injured man.

Soon after the GOOP guru fled the scene, Sanderson claims that her instructor came over and informed the injured man that the incident was his fault and then also skied off.

Stars showing support for Jussie Smollett after brutal attack

Around 2am on Tuesday morning, Jussie Smollett was in a Chicago Subway restaurant when he was viciously attacked by two men. Now celebrities are posting their support of the actor.

It’s indisputable that one of Jussie’s purpose-gifts is the ability to unify through love. It’s who he is. It’s what he does. His blazon of light can never - and will never - be diminished, quelled or subdued. This despicable act only shamefully reveals how deeply the diseases of hatred, inequality, racism and discrimination continue to course through our country’s veins. It’s not enough to just share about the unconscionable, heinous and deplorable acts birthed by them - we must shoulder the responsibility and honor of loving one another like never before. We MUST. For without love; we gain nothing, we live for nothing, we become nothing. Praying deeply for our brother as he heals and recovers. Fervently awaiting the moment that these vile, despicable cowards and purveyors of hate and evil are brought to a smoldering justice. Love - and @jussiesmollett’s light, voice and purpose - will never be silenced. Hate will not win. We will rise.

Chicago PD say the 'Empire' star was approached by two white men ski masks who yelled "Aren't you that f***ot 'Empire' n*****?"  before beating him badly enough to fracture a rib and cut his face. The men also reportedly put a rope around his neck and poured bleach on him.

Authorities say they're considering it a hate crime (DUH) and are looking for the men. Lee Daniels says the entire cast will have extra security while shooting in Chicago.

Grammy Winners Leak Online, But Academy Says They’re Fake

Monday night a mysterious list, claiming to reveal the 2019 Grammy winners, surfaced online.

According to a video shared on Twitter, the list appeared to come straight from the Recording Academy’s website and showed Cardi B as the winner for record of the year for “I Like It.”

The list also alleged that A Star Is Born‘s Lady Gaga won song of the year for “Shallow.”

The Academy has since addressed the leak, telling PEOPLE, “There is no legitimacy to this.”

“GRAMMY Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes.”

In addition to being up for record of the year, Cardi, 26, has also been nominated for Album of the Year for Invasion of Privacy, best rap album, best rap performance for “Be Careful” and best pup/duo/group performance for Maroon 5‘s “Girls Like You.”

Cardi learned of her nominations following a court appearance for her assault and reckless endangerment charges in connection with a fight earlier this year at a strip club in Queens.

“I am?” Cardi questioned the reporter, who told her the news. She then asked, “How many nominations?”

Upon hearing the news, the rapper indulged in a mini celebration by sticking her tongue out and yelling her signature phrase, “Oweee.”

The 61st Grammy Awards will take place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday, Feb. 10. The telecast will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.

Kate Beckinsale Hospitalized For Ruptured Ovarian Cyst

Actress Kate Beckinsale said on Instagram Sunday that she was being treated for a ruptured ovarian cyst, and drugs to quell the intense pain had a downside as well.

In a post accompanied by photos of the “Underworld” star lying in a hospital bed with an oxygen tube in her nose, Beckinsale wrote: “Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry.”

Ruptured ovarian cysts can cause “serious symptoms,” according to the Mayo Clinic website. Severe abdominal and pelvic pain, and pain with fever and vomiting require “immediate medical attention.”

Beckinsale’s moment of distress wasn’t helped by a troll who commented on the pictures, “But first let me take a selfie,” according to People.

“It’s actually not a selfie,” Beckinsale snapped back. “My mum took it. In fact I would not have posted it if we had not noticed someone in a car taking a photo of me leaving the hospital in a wheelchair.”

“I have Instagram largely to have my own honest narrative and not have to always be ambushed by stories that come out that are invented, I’d prefer to say what happened than endure speculation and so I chose to share,” she continued.

“I agree, it’s not a normal impulse. But it’s not normal to be photographed in vulnerable situations by people you don’t know either. (If you were interested in knowing the provenance of this, which, you probably are not.).”

Terry Crews hits back at D.L. Hughley for questioning alleged assault

Terry Crews clapped back at D.L. Hughely for criticizing and questioning his sexual assault allegation.

Crews, 50, claims a WME agent groped him at a party in 2016. The agent has since left the company and apologized to Crews in a letter.

Last summer, the controversial comedian appeared in a VLAD TV interview in which he said, “I think it’s hard for me to think that a dude with all those muscles can’t tell an agent to not touch his ass.”

Hugely, 55, added, “I don’t understand. I think that now everybody’s so into the notion that, ‘It happened to me too.’ Hey mother—ker, God gave you muscles so you could say no and mean it.”

On Sunday, Crews took to Twitter responding, “You told the the world ‘God Gave Me Muscles So I Could Say No…’ Are you implying I ‘wanted’ to be sexually assaulted. I’m listening, sir…”

Hughely didn’t directly respond to his comments but said, “You saw the video!”

In the weeks and months after Crews spoke out about his alleged assault, he claimed that he received the least support from black men.
