Rosie O’Donnell’s Missing Daughter Chelsea Found By Police

Earlier this week, Rosie O’Donnell revealed that her 17-year-old daughter Chelsea had gone missing in Nyack, New York and hadn’t been seen or heard from since she took her therapy dog out for a walk on August 11th. In an announcement posted to her official website, it was claimed that Chelsea had stopped taking her medication (which she had been prescribed for mental illness of some sort) and was in need of medical attention and implored anyone who knew anything about Chelsea’s whereabouts to get in touch with authorities. Thankfully, police were able to track Chelsea down by pinging a cell phone she’d been using, and she’s in custody now, safe and sound.

From TMZ:

Police found Chelsea and Bear in the town of Barnegat Light on the Jersey shore … roughly 130 miles south of Rosie’s home in Rockland County, NY. Law enforcement sources tell us Chelsea was located by pinging a cell phone she’d used.

I’m really glad she was found safely, but I have so many questions about this situation. Why is a 17-year-old living on her own outside of New York City rather than with her mother? There were whispers on some other sites that back in November, Chelsea found her birth mother and was planning a visit, but the mother lives in, like, Wisconsin or something, so clearly that wasn’t the case. Very strange…

  • Even an evil, nasty bitch like Rosie wouldn’t deserve a tragedy like a dead daughter to have to deal with.

  • Rosie needs to get a strong grip on raising her family properly.. too many ex’s say she is not mom material and take care of her drunkeness.. good mom’s need to be sober and approachable, curb her rude outbursts.. and great anger issues and gain some parenting skills.. don’t think this is end of her problems, she adopted too many kids for her her to handle alone.. she probably expects someone else to be mom while she is the star and yet she stays a pal and enabler..
