Yes, because we already saw Jess’s hot bod arriving in New York City for the taping of the premiere episode of Katie, which is Katie Couric‘s new televised talk show. She looks good, and it’s hard to imagine that she could look any better than she did in that picture, but she did. Oh boy did she.
Here’s another photo of Jess during Katie’s interview:
And while such life-changing events sometimes warp and twist celebrities into something that they’re not, Jess is still the completely honest, down-to-earth girl that we fell in love with all of those years ago. Here’s a few choice quotes from the show—Jessica on water weight:
“During pregnancy, I didn’t really think about it. I thought my doctors were telling me that it was just a lot of water and whenever my water broke my whole entire stomach would go down but that did not happen. All the weight did not come out with the baby.”
And Jess on her post-baby eating habits that kept tripping her up:
“I feel like what made me eat more is my hormones and breastfeeding. I’ve never wanted chocolate more in my life. I’ve had to really stay focused and focus on my diet and concentrate on what I’m putting in my body.”
And finally, Jess on the pressure that she’s been under to lose the weight:
“I’ve just had a lot of pressure on me and today was actually one of my goals. Getting here in a comfortable and beautiful dress. I’ve been pregnant for three years. I definitely don’t Google my name. I try to avoid it completely. But I still subconsciously know that the talk is going on so I think that every day that is a struggle for me.”
See, guys? For all of you out there shaming her for her weight gain, come on. She’s a real person with real feelings, and this hasn’t been easy on her. Yeah, she’s only got herself to blame, but seriously. In a world filled with Lindsay Lohan– and Peaches Geldof-types, we should thank our lucky stars that there are celebrities out there like Jessica, because she’s real-er than real.
Here’s some live-action stuff from the interview, too:
