9Lea Michele is Still the Queen of Awkward
Did you guys know? Lea Michele is the new face of Candie’s, replacing Vanessa Hudgens, who, out of all former Candie’s spokesmodels, was probably the utmost in BORING. Step up? Definitely. However, Lea Michele is still going to go down in Candie’s books as the most awkward model in its campaign history.
And if you think the photos are awkward? Oh my God you need to see this video:
And if you thought that was bad, bad enough to maybe go and hide from? Then you might want to stay where you are ’til this behind-the-scenes video finishes up, because it’s THE WORST:
“… A very cute boy”? Come on! Are we sixteen again? Because I don’t think I’ve said the phrase, “very cute boy” since then, mind you. And Lea’s how old? She’s twenty-five? Come on. Unless she’s into much, much younger dudes, then there’s no excuse for using “cute boy” in her description when talking about a very attractive man. Or guy. Or DUDE, if you prefer to be less formal.
For real, though, girl’s got some killer, killer legs. And I suppose a pretty hot little body to go along with those legs, so yes. We’re not even going to try to take that cred away from her, OK?
How do you guys feel about Lea’s new ads?
I think the pictures are good, lea michele looks good and Candies public is young so of course lea is talking to that public, it is their target.
Stop being logical and nice. You are on the internet don’t you know you are suppose to be bitchy and say nasty things about people.
I would by a Blu-Ray of Lea Michelle reading a phone book. Candie’s adds are usually corny, but the girls are always perfect 10′s.
Its a 30 sec ad, did they really need to use the same shot at 00:09 and 00:21?
even her smile is awkward to me. but the shoes look nice :)
What was awkward about it? She’s a cute girl, he’s a cute boy, those are cute shoes. It was all just cute.
