Ryan Gosling Bleaches His Whole Head for New Movie Role

Excuse me a second, I’ve laughed myself into such a state that I thought I was going to throw up for a second. I’m all better now, but this was a tough thing to follow Deena Cortese’s bare bum, you know? My stomach was kind of on the edge there as it were.

Anyway, this is Ryan Gosling‘s newest look for his latest film, The Place Beyond the Pines, where he plays a motorcycle-riding stuntman who turns to a life of crime to support his family. Not only do I laugh because the hair is just so, so bad (I’m not even touching the Crybaby-like tattoo – and eyeliner? Is that eyeliner?), but the thought of Ryan Gosling playing a hardened criminal just tickles me deep in a place I can’t talk about here.

Bradley Cooper also stars in the film, which is set to release sometime in 2013, and I sincerely hope that the production designers and wardrobe specialists didn’t share Ryan’s brassy little secret with him, too. There’d be no way for me to keep a straight face.

    Repeating myself here, but I hate the idea of him playing anything remotely resembling action roles. Ryan Gosling isn’t that… and I don’t if it’s his management making these calls or Ryan himself, but I’d rather stay home and watch Lars and the Real Girl over again.

    He looks way out of his depth, but then again he is quite a good actor so he might surprise us!
