Do you remember when Lady Gaga released her music video for “You and I,” then announced that she would be doing five “fashion films” for the song? If you don’t, I understand, because that all happened a year ago. Seriously, she released the other films last September, and I don’t know, I guess she just got around to this one.
Is it just me, or does this absolutely reek of desperation? I don’t know, maybe this was always the plan, to release the videos within a couple of weeks of each other and then wait an entire year to reveal the last one, but I just get the feeling that Lady Gaga is starting to worry that people just don’t love her like they used to. Her wackiness is starting to wear thin, isn’t it?
I think that grabbing your crotch is more silly-looking than edgy anymore, even for women.
I’ve honestly never heard a Lady Gaga song (that I knew of…maybe one was playing in the background or something but I didn’t know it was her) and I didn’t realise her music was like….”new country” bullshit? How does she think she’s so edgy when she’s making, essentially, tear in my beer songs?
Most of her music isn’t like this. I personally hate this song, but I love a lot of her other hits (which are more pop).
She is such a good singer-songwriter, but she is getting soooo tiresome.
And by “getting soooo tiresome” I mean I’m fucking bored of her and she better step up her game with her next album or she’ll fade away via mental breakdown like Britney.
