As most of you know by now, NFL player Damar Hamlin was taken to the hospital last night after a cardiac episode on the field of Monday Night Football that required medics to restart his heart.
Since then fans and friends have come in droves to the players Gofundme charity that he set up in 2020 to raise money for a toy drive in Pennsylvania.
Damar’s original goal on the site was a mere $2,500. Within one hour of his collapse on the field the total was just over a million dollars. At the time this was posted it had just surpassed $4 million.
I am so insanely touched by the way people show and express love. 2023 could be the year of the human. Lets do it!!!!
Damar is currently in critical condition at a Cincinnati hospital.
