Tom Brady card fetched $118k at auction

And so it begins.  There’s a window for memorabilia that hovers around 2-3 months after a great player retires.  If you strike when the window is open, you can make some coin.  Otherwise you may need to wait 20 years till nostalgia kicks in.

Take the Tom Brady 2002 Topps Finest X-Fractor card that hit $118,000 at auction on Monday, according to the Associated Press.

The AP noted the card was one of only 20 for that insert, thus putting a premium on the price tag.

Take a look in those couch cushions or little bobbys treasure box. See what you have.
