Let me just come right out and say that I love Chrissy Teigen. I think she’s funny, down-to-earth, and basically an absolute joy. (I mean, have you bought her cookbook? Do you follow her on Twitter? If you answered yes to either of those questions, you’ll know exactly what I mean.) Anyhow, she’s married to John Legend and they’ve been cooking up a new human being for the past nine months that Chrissy gave birth to earlier this week.
The couple welcomed a baby girl named Luna Simone Stephens (that’s John’s real last name) on Thursday, April 14 in Los Angeles. The baby and mom are both apparently pretty healthy and Chrissy seems happy, though admittedly tired, based on the Instagram photo she posted this morning:
John also seems to be in proud papa mode and tweeted about the new arrival:

I don’t care much about celebrities or babies on a personal level, but I’m super happy for these two! Congrats to them!
