Katy Perry is a friend of several of my frenemies, and y’all know I love her music, but you should also know that I don’t for one second think she’s some sweet, kind, personable angel who anyone would be lucky to know. I can totally see her being petty, immature, and a bit mean. She hasn’t got to where she is because she doesn’t know how to slice and dice the competition out of her way. Well, apparently she picked the wrong person to bully this time, because singer-songwriter Ryn Weaver spoke out on Twitter about her experience with the real life Regina George, proving she is NOT THE ONE.
If you’re saying to yourself, “Ryn Weaver who?”, you’re not wrong, but you’re also not right, because she’s actually doing her thing in the industry and is considered an “up and comer” — she co-wrote one of JoJo’s new songs, plus two songs on Gwen Stefani’s new album, and she also has a single called “OctaHate” which, to be fair, I haven’t listened to. Anyway, she since deleted all her tweets, but the Internet never forgets, and she ain’t getting away with it that easy.

Here’s what Ryn had to say about Katy:
“She came up to me and my friends.. Knowing I played.. After we were friends.. Then stared at me the whole time she spoke to my friend waiting for me to speak… Anytime I spoke she started turning her head around pretending she heard something… Then said “dos u hear something?” While staring at me.. Anytime I spoke.. After we were already friends.. Did this the entire night… Then came w us to drake and stared at me the WHOLE SHOW.. Then any time I caught her eye out of my periphery she proceeded to alert her entire posse saying ” that ryn weaver girl is soooo obsessed with me” loud enough for my entire group of friends to hear… While talking why the WHOLE NIGHT loud enough for me to hear.. After pretending I didn’t even exist.”
This all started because Ryn called Katy out for being a paid shill for Hillary Clinton (which, let’s be real, it’s a fair assessment), but the Katy Cats were NOT happy with this and quickly descended:
Frankly, I’m kinda glad Ryn dragged Katy. I like Katy as an entertainer, as I said, and I love when Katy drags other stars, but let’s not pretend she’s not playing the same games Taylor Swift is, to a certain degree…

Ya I don’t know this Ryn this sounds weird as far as the “hitting the destruct button on her career” I doubt it? As you said she has written songs for some names so she should be fine if she has talent and besides Katy isn’t every ones cup of tea now is she. She’s hot but she also married RB so ……
I only found these rumours because I absolutely adore Katy Perry for more than just one or two reasons the average person (in regard to her) could think of. But also through this gossip I found Ryn Weaver and her album, and think she’s got a gorgeous voice and great music. We don’t know what really happened there – but why you think you know anything about Katy Perry remains a mystery to me.
