After months of anticipation (I’m sure someone was looking forward to them, right?) the 2015 Emmy Awards went off last night without a hitch, with Andy Samberg at the helm, and now a bunch of people are the owners of very fancy gold statues that they can put over their mantlepieces.
I didn’t tune in last night because I’m not actually in the country so it was well past my bedtime, but I’ve watched the highlights (you can’t really avoid them) and I’m not really all that surprised by the winners.

Lots of fantastic wins for women of color and women in general, which is amazing. Also glad to see Jon Stewart get some recognition as the show ends – totally deserved.
It surprises me EB only had one post about the Emmy’s which was lackluster to say the least. No red carpet looks, no after party coverage. No mention and focus about the first African American actress winning in the lead actress category. But hey, lets just slap another Kylie Jenner post up…
…. but really, you guys are killing me with this website as of late. SLOW to post content, and content which I can hardly call content. Yeah, yeah, it’s a gossip blog, but I remember when I would really be excited to come over here and check things out multiple times a day. Y’all need a re-haul.
