At first, the story was that Jake broke it off because he thought Vienna was cheating on him, but she denies that. Then Vienna’s stepmom stepped up to say that the Vienna was the one to end the relationship because of Jake’s fame-whoring. Lex, the girl that got eliminated on the first episode, is on Vienna’s side, stating that
“I find it hard to believe that she is guilty of anything negative in the breakup … except for falling in love with a man whose heart was clearly not available for her in the first place.”
