Miz Swift turns the big 2-0 on Sunday, and it seems like she wants a new look to celebrate. Taylor sported long straight hair, bangs, and methinks some extensions on Wednesday night, when she did dinner at Otto in NYC with John Mayer, then went to Tasti D-Lite (OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT PLACE) and a candy shop with actress Emma Stone. I absolutely love the new look — it makes her look more womanly and sexy and less girlish, which is appropriate now that she’s no longer going to be a teenager. What do you guys think?

It almost looks like a wig because I’m so used to seeing her with big curly hair. I know it’s not a wig but it makes her look like a completely different person.

WOW! What a stunner! I have to say I sincerely hated her fakey ringlets. This fits her so well, and she looks so mature and gorgeous. I hope she keeps it!
Her ringlets were not “fakey.” They were her natural curls, stupid. What happened to her crusade for girls to “embrace their naturally curly hair?”

I agree that she is unrecognizable with straight hair – how odd. She looks so much older and less kitten-ish. She looks like a young, blond Carly Simon, or someone else who I can’t put my finger on.

Wow, I do not like this. At all. It looks like a hide-from-paparazzi wig. I don’t know, something about it just feels wrong. It’s an odd look. Ican’t quite put my finger on it though..

Gorgeous. She looks like she belongs on a runway. I would like the hair a little darker with highlights. Rocks the bangs. If I were her this would be my disguise hair, but people would still be gaping.
It’s not an ugly hairstyle or anything like that; it looks good. It’s just so different that it kind of bothers me because she doesn’t look like herself.
I don’t think this is very flattering. If she left some body in the style (big, soft curls as opposed to ringlets) she may achieve the same, more sophisticated look. I think this makes her bone structure look “clunky”.

I like the curly hair. This striaght hair just makes her look like every other no-name in LA. The hair is kind of like a signature thing for her. I really hope this is a one-time thing.
