Taylor Swift is set to host Saturday Night Live on November 7th and she already has some ideas for skits. She told AP, “I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time. There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.”
Obviously, she’s referring to her run in with Kanye at last month’s VMAs. I think that the show execs believe the skits will be funny, but I wonder if it won’t just look like Taylor Swift doesn’t know how to move on.

I think Kanye should be the musical guest on SNL that night. When he starts to perform, Taylor should jump onto the stage, grab his mike, and hand it to Jay-Z who will then sing Empire State of mind while Kanye stands there shocked.

I think it’s pretty obvious from the interviews she did the next day that she wants to move.
If she has a good skit in mind, I’m sure it will get vetoed by the powers that be on that show, because I laugh twice a season with this show!!! (that I want to love)

Taylor Swift can’t do SNL this soon, as the host, without touching on the Kanye incident. Kanye will be the elephant in the room that has to be dealt with. As Anonymous above says, if done right, it will work.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the real Kanye West on her SNL show, reprising his role of awards show jackass.

You know what they shouldo do is invite him on the show, then when he gets there and is about to go out tell him they changed thier plans and he’s not on. I bet that would send him into another tantrum.
it would be funny if they got kanye to play himself in a skit. as for ‘moving on’, you can have something happen to you and still talk about it or make light of it even if you have ‘moved on’.
Kanye did that on SNL after he did that PSA with Mike Meyers about Katrina and said: “President Bush hates black people” line! He went on SNL and did a funny skit with Mike!
Taylor was asked to be host of SNL long before the VMAs ever happened. She said herself that she had to work hard not to talk about it all summer because it was supposed to be kept secret. And as others said, she has said on both the View and on Oprah that she forgave Kanye, and She has never tried in any way to bring attention to what happened or to try to milk it for sympathy or publicity; its the press that talked about it over and over and tried to force her to talk about it.
Myself, I hope she and SNL do not mention what happened at all because to do so would detract from what a phenomenal talent Taylor is and always was in her own right. She did not want or need anyone to “Help” her promote her career, least of all West with his assinine and insulting behaviour. I don’t think he ever was really sorry, he just never knew what popularity Taylor had, he figured he could insult her with impunity because she is just a country girl. When he was made to realize that her popularity far exceeds his own with all genres and races in America he realized he better “make nice” or his career was definately over. I think even with his obviously fake “apologies” that most of America still sees him for what he really is; an obnoxious low-class self-proclaimed “voice of his generation” and they are not buying it anymore.
I’m a huge fan of Taylors but I will be disappointed in her if she allows SNL to bring him into her appearance on the show in either a physical appearance or skit form. This is her SNL moment, and to have him on there will be taking another moment that should have been hers entirely. He’s done enough, may he fade away into well deserved obscurity
move on? taylor? hahahah riiiight. this girl is the QUEEN of rehashing every detail from her past. while it makes for good songs it gets old after a while. taylor stilll hasn’t moved on from the joe jonas break up and that was over a year ago. we’ll be hearing about this kanye thing for a while, be prepared.
IF this broad does any skits on SNL, will anyonhe know? I mean, the show has pretty much stunk since the early 1980s, so I wonder if anyone watches. Buuuuut, if she DOES a skit, it must be where she takes an acoustic git-banger to a reasonable look-alike of the TALENT-LESS Kanye West.
She looks like a blonde Sasha Grey in that picture to me…weird.
