Says the President of TLC: ““You’ll see Jon struggle in the kitchen trying to make pizza for his kids. You’ll see what its like when Kate has to put a tent up for the first time for her kids, who love to camp in their backyard. And she gets a little advice from her daughter who doesn’t think she does it quite as well as dad.”
And as to whether or not we’ll get to see Jon running around Manhattan with his new barely-legal harem? “As far as new people and places that may be cycling into Jon and Kate’s lives, we’re taking it on a case-by-case basis,” she says.
Ooooh, don’t let us down, TLC!! DRAMA! DRAMA! DRAMA.
I remember way back… (when I thought watching Jon & Kate was only my secret obsession) I was reading this site and you Beet wrote an article on them.
It was the first article I had read that wasn’t a stupid advertisement for their show. I thought finally! someone who see’s Kate as an obsessive cow just like I did!
Now you can’t go anywhere without seeing something about them.

John Grogan, beloved author of Marley & Me, didn’t let Kate Gosselin off easy when he penned a 2005 article on the mom of eight.
At the time, Grogan was a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Gosselin sextuplets had just celebrated their first birthday. In his column, the writer criticized Kate Gosselin’s demand that Medicaid—and taxpayers—continue to pay for the nurse the family referred to as “a second mommy.” (That nurse, Angela Krall, has since publicly painted Kate Gosselin as an ungrateful mom and nightmare of a boss.)
In the article, Grogan admitted that the Gosselins needed help with childcare and called on the community to step in and help with the babies. But he called Kate Gosselin’s request for the state to foot the tab for a paid nurse “ridiculous,” pointing out that the children no longer needed in-home medical care. “The once fragile children are now robust; they do not need a nurse,” he wrote. He then reminded his readers: “Besides, Gosselin is a registered nurse herself.”
During their interview, Gosselin defended her request, telling Grogan that she couldn’t afford to pay a nanny or babysitter “even $6 an hour” on Jon’s income. He asked why, then, she didn’t go back to work herself. Her response? The family van couldn’t hold all eight kids in one trip and they couldn’t afford a bigger one. And if she did work, she said, her paycheck would just end up going to daycare fees. “Welcome to the world of working parents,” Grogan wrote in response.
Grogan also called for the Gosselins to take responsibility for their overwhelming brood. “Gosselin, a registered nurse, knew the risks of taking fertility drugs,” he wrote. “Even after delivering twins on the first go-round, she rolled the dice again. And now she wants the state to pay for her gamble?”
While Grogan said he wanted to feel sympathetic to Kate Gosselin, he said she “radiated a sense of entitlement and inflexibility.” The writer also predicted that the family would face trouble in the future, saying “they have brought upon the makings of a desperate situation” that would be “a recipe for a meltdown.” Looks like Grogan’s prediction has come to pass–Jon and Kate Gosselin have dominated the tabloids in recent weeks as stories about infidelity and marital discord between the pair continue to surface.
A 1.1 million dollar house and the kitchen needs to be redone? If you ask me someone got hosed in that real estate deal! So much for putting away everything for the kids, there goes another 100k for a new kitchen. Oh I must have totally forgot – isn’t all this stuff free for them? I am thinking of popping out 10 kids so I can get a dormer on my house. Were the apartment in NY and the condo in MD free as well, or are they using the kids college fund to pay for that as well? Not to mention Jons $950.00 shoes, or his new BMW, along with her new 60K car.The basic bottom line here is that money distroyed this family.
We were already hearing WAY too much about these people who’ve done nothing notable but have too many children. Is it going to get worse?
I think the most damning thing about his behavior isn’t who he’s been hanging out with or what he’s been doing but that the first thing that this father of eight did when after announcing their separation was to move away from his children. The children are the most important thing in his life? Right.
Pardon the pun but the “barely legal” comments are getting old.
I’m never watching this show again, she’s remodeling a new kitchen and she hasn’t set up a college fund – I am so over these freaks it’s not funny. Both parents need to get a job – not live off their exploited children.

Anywho… now to point out something that will probably anger a few. So there is no need to scream at me…
But going to college is a gift. Not a right.
No matter how much money your parents may have… it does not make it their responsibility to pay for college.
And to be honest these kids would be better off not having to rely on her to pay for it.
Every time you piss Kate off she would cut off the checks paying for tuition.
Kate sucks, and Jon is learing how to. hahahaha
Kate doesn’t suck — I think that is why Jon left. Please please please let their whole house burn down during the remodel. TLC please take away their money. PA child services please come get their children. Jon please catch the clap. Kate please spontaneously combust.

Kate Gosselin is the worst blood sucker on the planet. Someone has to make sure the money being paid to this family is allocated to the kids. They are entitled to the funds. Kate Gosselin is a bloodsucking leech. Shame the fuck on her. She is just a give me more and more and more person. Shut off the show and people it will go away. I don’t watch it never have but enoughh I see on the news is absolutely disgusting. I also think her brother and his wife are absolutely right, the kids are being screwed.
