Twilight Sequel Script Trashed

So imagine this:  You’re standing outside a hotel and you happen to glance down and see a movie script for New Moon, the Twilight sequel laying in a trash container.  It’s exactly what happened to St. Louis salon owner Casey Ray recently.

Though she could have sold out to a tabloid, and briefly considered it, she ended up returning the script to Summit Entertainment, LLC.  Her reward?  A couple tickets to the premiere of New Moon.

She did retain a lawyer to speak on her behalf who states that Ray would like to retain the scripts to keep as collectors items.  Or, you know, to sell.  Summit didn’t have any comment on that portion of the story, but I’m willing to bet that they threw some money at her to get the scripts back.

So, how did the movie script end up in the trash in the first place?  New Moon actress Anna Kendrick has been staying at the hotel while she films Up in the Air with George Clooney so logically, she’d be the culprit.  And who can blame her for a lack of concentration?  George.  Clooney.  However, her spokesperson-everyone has a spokesperson now-claims that her client would never leave scripts laying around.  Naturally.

    • She can sell those tickets for lots of $$$ to any spoiled 13yr-old Twilight fan! (You know Daddy will pay for it) I think it was win-win!

  • hah! I got forced to watch that first film, never read the books…understand it’s aimed at teens but seriously the writing and editing in that movie was either bloody hilarious or hide under a rock tragic
not to mention the acting skills provided by the girl (and others) in the movie who seriously shows less emotion than a pile of moody sawdust. or maybe a dead fish
    shame about it
maybe this means whoever did the horrible script for the first one was kicked out? maybe the next will have halfway intelligent writing?

  • The only thing that I like about this movie is Robert Pattinson´s face (and body), I mean, he can´t act; but the girl is worst.

  • I, also, think the acting from Kristen Stewart was horrible!!! Now, I didn’t read the books (yet), so can someone tell me if the “Bella” character had the personality of a Zombie? I kind of liked Robert Pattinson’s character (wish I had my own vampire), but there were times his acting was stiff. But, I loved the movie and I’m in my mid-30’s!

  • In the books Bella is supposed to be an “awkward” person. But I dont think Kristen has achieved this at all. I actually find alot of flaws in this movie in terms of character and plot development, not that the book does it very well either.
That lady should have at least photocopied the script before returning it! Bet she is kickin herself now.
