ZOooooooomg I am sooo obsessed with this kid. He just electrifies a stage like none other. I mean, I often like a contestant and think to myself, “Sure, yeah, you’re good. I’d listen to your album. On Rhapsody. For free.” But for the first time in Idol history, I’ve was like, “Dude, I would pay good money to see him when he tours.”
In fairness, Adam’s a seasoned stage professional — check out one of his LA stage performances here — but still. I just lovelovelove when he comes up. He’s so great.

boy beet, i just don’t see it. he goes into that butt rock register sure, but he’s so over-the-top theater camp, but maybe this isn’t about a great voice. i was told they were able to play instruments because it’s about idol, not just a voice.

I usually always agree with you Beet but I really can’t stand that kid. He might have wonderful stage presence but his voice is horrible. He sounds like a shrieking monkey.

I swear they cooked up this whole save thing just for him after those pix came out cuz we all know what happened to the last guy (David Hernandez?) that got affliated with the gays…he got booted the very next week and all he did in the those was pose shirtless at a gay bar he worked for. Idol sucks worse than last season AND they lip synch in the medleys on the results show (plus Megan can’t even do that right) and they think their audience is too stoopid to catch on.

Omg that’s why he looks familiar… he looks just like Pete Wentz! His make-up is OTT but I think his singing is not so bad although I agree at times it’s theatrical. That rig guy Micheal is growing on me. And the visual-impaired dude, I mean seriously… they’ve GOT to do something about his hair! I swear it’s annoying!
I just wish they’d boot Paula off and keep Kara instead. I like the fact that Kara gives constructive criticism. Paula always talks like she’s on something.

I love the loud, but this guy is HORRIBLE! I also agree with the poster who said they normally like all things gay. Me too, but this guy annoys the hell out of me. Unfortunately, I think he’s going to be around for some time to come. DAMN IT!!!!!!!

Whatever haters, he is so entertaining and I love his performances, I think Idol would be dull without him this season. Idol needed something new because Idol is getting old and tired.

It’s unfortunate you cannot appreciate real talent instead of these others who are a little karaoke as Simon stated after Adam’s wonderful rendition of “Play that Funky Music, White Boy”. I think some of your ridiculous statements are based on something else, some of you sound so immature, really. So if you don’t like him…..don’t watch and stop whining. You are totally outnumbered and Adam can’t be stopped now, if he doesn’t win, which I believe he will, he will surely have lots of offers from record producers anyway. I’m sorry you cannot recognize a SUPERSTAR. Millions of fans are waiting for Tuesday and it’s 100% Adam will WOW as usual.
It so refreshing to finally find a venue where at least some people don’t like Adam Lambert. I just don’t get the fascination. Every song sounds the same….and it always involves at least one high pitched scream with his tongue sticking out. Do you really think that he can be classified as an “American Idol”???? I’m not saying that he’s untalented, he definitely is talented, but not in this category. I’m so over him. I think that Kris is the most overall talent. He has more nationwide appeal and is also a talented muscian. If I was investing in the careers of the 3 remaining contestants…my money is on Kris.
