MillerCoors has discontinued production of Zima, citing “weakness in the ‘malternative’ segment and declining consumer interest.”
This marks the end of an era.
And by “an era” I of course mean “1995,” since that was the last time anyone drank Zima. Seriously the first time someone offered me that shit I thought it was a mixer. I was like, “Wait, so, I put vodka in this, right?” And they were like, “No, you just drink it,” and I took another sip and was like, “Uh … yeah. I think I’m gonna go ahead and put vodka in it.”
Goodbye, Zima.

I thought that was out of… making… whatever, a long time ago. I don’t think my liquor stores even sell it.
The only reason that shit EVER sold was because there was a rumor that Zima didn’t affect blood alcohol levels. People can be really stupid.

I for one say good riddance! I shiver just thinking of the taste. A trick my group of friends would do to make it taste better was drop a Jolly Rancher in it.
The first time I ever got drunk was on Zima. I was 14 and out at my grandparents house and drank like 11 and started stumbling all over the yard. My grandma thought it was kool-aid. Good times.

i was a freshman in high school. i knew a senior who could get alcohol. i had him get me 2 6 packs of zima. this girl(who i wasnt really friends with) saw me with the zima in my locker and she went to the principal and said she was so worried b/c one of her friends was drinking. they cut open my locker looking for the contraband and i had caught wind earlier that she was ratting me out so i put them in my book bag and all you heard when i walked down the hallway was clang clang clang. i will miss you zima.
Now my Zima ephemera will be valuable. *LOL*

Mine was Zima with Jim Beam or Peppermint Schnapps. It was college. I wasn’t picky, but I was cheap!
