Guns ‘N’ Roses Go After the One Dude Who Still Cares About Them

So, the Feds arrested a 27-year-old blogger this morning on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws. Kevin Cogill was taken into custody after being accused of posting nine unreleased tracks off the new Guns ‘N’ Roses album, Chinese Democracy, on his website. The songs were later removed.

Um, does anyone else think it’s sort of ironic that an album titled Chinese Democracy has prompted federal agents to raid a journalist’s house in the wee hours of the morning and take him into custody?

I’m just saying.

  • So much for a governmental administration that does away with a basic constitutional right known as habeas corpus– I guess this guy is lucky they told someone he got arrested, because since they took that right away they don’t have to anymore. They can just take you and hold you and the hell with you. Do you think it is time for people to get off their lazy duffs and vote for a change of leadership?

  • ARGGGGGGG Stop the fucking spam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On an other note, my husband would probably have sex with the whole band if they’d let him. I would have sex with those hunks from Celtic Thunder. Seriously, you should do a story on them. I want to do naughty things to Kieth Harkin and make him cry. (in a good way…)

  • I do believe that when Chinese Democracy is released it will be it’s own oldie, the music is so dated. Here’s to Axl who owes Geffen Music more money than this CD will ever generate. Bye Axl, hope you have good investments to fall back on.
