Did you guys all read Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love?
OMG how good was it???
Loved loved LOVED that book.
Now, comedy writer Andrew Gottlieb is releasing the male version of the book, titled Drink, Play, F@#K. The plot? It “tells the fictional story of Bob Sullivan, a man who, seeking solace after his wife leaves him, goes on a bender in Ireland, takes a gambling jaunt to Las Vegas and a embarks on a sex-tourism trip to Thailand.”
The book won’t even be available until next year, but Warner Bros has already purchased the movie rights.
wow! considering a large percentage of the sex trade in thailand consists of under age prostitutes…that sound heee-larious.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I guess it’s safe to say the humor will be edgy.
Yeah, let’s glamourize the sex-trade situation in other countries. No wonder we are the biggest market for it!
Sorry, it just really pisses me off. I don’t care about the either book anyways-just the lightheartedness of sex trade issues.

question–is this comedic author doing this to mock Gilbert’s book out of lighthearted comedy or is he seriously trying to make fun of it?
I hate to see such an honest account of life as in Gilbert’s book go to the dogs to trash it.
You guys need to relax a little. I just bought the book because I loved Elizabeth Gilbert’s, but thought a guy’s funny version of the same story could be a great read. I am only in the Ireland section so far, but I love it.
I finished the book last night and it is a great read. You really do need to relax as far as the sex trade goes. Read the book its not what you think its gonna be.
