Paris Hilton managed to get a record deal with Cash Money Records – for what reason, we’ll never know – and she’s getting ready to bring out the video for her new single ‘Good Time’, which features Lil Wayne and was produced by Afrojack, who I’m vaguely confusing for that guy who sang that ‘Cos I Got High’ song some years back. Totally not the same person, by the way.
Anyhow, that’s neither here nor there. Paris gave a 15 second teaser of the video for ‘Good Time’ on her Instagram page yesterday, and without further ado, here it is in all its glory:
First of all, I love that she thinks she’s repping YMCMB so hard like that. Second of all, I love that all the video that’s not of her mouthing the words under a heinous amount of autotune look like they don’t even belong to this song. The whole thing is just so very wrong. I know Wayne loves the Sizzurp, but are you fucking kidding me? How high do you have to be to co-sign this shit?

Lil Wayne is back in the headlines this week, and it’s not for another Sizzurp-induced seizure or signing has-beens to a record contract (thank god for small miracles?). No, instead he’s getting shit this time around for apparently stepping on an American flag in his new video for ‘God Bless Amerika’. Why anyone gives a shit about this is beyond me – it’s a piece of fabric and has no bearing on… well, anything in life. People need to get a grip on reality and find something real to care about.
Anyway, apparently people (I’m imagining of the white, conservative variety) are all up in arms about this to the point where Tunechi felt the need to hit up Twitter and offer an explanation:
I didn't step on the flag on purpose! It's a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it's just there as I perform
— Lil Wayne WEEZY F (@LilTunechi) June 18, 2013
Is this real life? Shit like this makes me want to step on a flag just to piss people off. Lighten up, folks.

Paris Hilton, you better thank Sofia Coppola for making you aaaaaalmost relevant again, thanks to The Bling Ring. Lil Wayne is reviving Hilton’s singing/music/whatever you call what she does career by officially signing her. They collaborated in November of 2012 but apparently that just wasn’t the end of it. More info from TMZ:
Wayne’s mentor – Birdman – confirmed the news on Twitter … saying, “Lil Wayne’s Cash Money family has a new member! Paris Hilton: RichgangRichgirl.”
According to Showbiz411, Hilton’s album will focus on house music — no surprise, since she’s been DJing at various clubs all over the world … and training with some house music bigshots for years.
The album — Hilton’s first since 2006 — will reportedly be produced by Afrojack … and will feature bona fide stars like Lil Wayne.
Paris told Showbiz411, “[The new album] is a lot different than my first album. It’s really going to be house music.“
And it’s really going to be awful. Although. Although! Confession. “Stars Are Blind” is a pleasure of mine. I don’t even know if I feel guilty about it anymore either. It’s really catchy.
The friendship of Lil Wayne and Paris Hilton seems so odd. They started “working together” (it’s in quotation marks because I don’t think Paris ever actually works) in 2011 and when she turned 32 in March of this year, he was not only a guest but performed as well.
Now please enjoy this recent photo of Paris leaning dangerously towards one side:

Lil Wayne‘s a relatively okay dude in the way that people who are not on your day to day radar enough to be anything more tend to be. I do have to admit that I think he’s kind of an idiot who could deal with some critical thinking lessons, but hell, what do I know? He refuses to budge on his Sizzurp addiction despite the fact that he’s got epilepsy and has been hospitalised for seizures numerous times just this year. Also, he has tattoos on his face. Anyone who does that has a bit of a brain deficiency.
Anyhoo, Wayne has opened up about his condition to RapFix Live, swearing that he’s “good” and that his health is at 100%. Uh, wrong, but okay, let’s go with that:
According to Tunechi, his sporadic seizures come without any warning.
“No warning, no nothing I don’t feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn’t get no headaches or nothing,” Lil Wayne told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway when he appeared on a special episode of “RapFix Live” on Wednesday (May 8).
Wayne says he has no recollection of the attacks and if it wasn’t for his family, friends and doctors, he wouldn’t even know the details of his frightful episodes. “I told them the other day, ‘Y’all can tell me right now that y’all was lying’, like ‘You know what? We lyin’ ain’t nothin,’ and I’d have to believe them because I don’t know,” he said. “I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don’t feel anything. I’m 100, I just hope it stops happening.”
I’m going to venture a minor guess to say that there are plenty of “warnings” – mainly like when you’re ingesting dangerous levels of cough syrup and caffeine and you have a serious medical condition? I mean, to quote Mugatu, I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. What the hell is wrong with people?

Things have been rough lately for Lil Wayne. After suffering multiple seizures, he was rushed to hospital earlier this month and was apparently on his last legs and close to death after a particularly intense Sizzurp binge (which caused even more seizures), which led to him having his stomach pumped and a nice stay in the ICU. He was eventually released and even announced plans to go on tour, so he must be recovering okay.
In any case, Weezy called into Power 106 FM in Los Angeles on Thursday to give an update on his condition and revealed that he’s had epilepsy for years, he just never told anyone or, you know, made smart choices about not putting a shit ton of drugs into his body which could lead him to have a bunch of seizures and maybe even die.
“The bad news is I’m an epileptic, I’m prone to seizures,” he explained. “Like, this isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, y’all just never hear about them.”
The hip-hop star continued: “This time it got real bad ’cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30%.
“Basically, I could’ve died, so that is why it was so serious. But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself.”
Wow, that’s… special. Also, what a creative use of the word “stress” – yes, organ stress from ingesting copious amounts of codeine and weed. And before all the stoners pipe up, no one’s saying it’s as dangerous as chemical drugs. What I am saying is that for someone who has any kind of health condition like that – heart issues, neurological disorders, etc – it might not be so smart to go nuts with the substances. But shit, Weezy’s had plenty of seizures, so he obviously knows best (eyeroll).

Lil Wayne suffered a seizure last week and was taken to the hospital. He was in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai for a while but now it looks like he may be in the clear — he was released last night. TMZ reports:
Wayne spent 6 days in the hospital — most of it in the Intensive Care Unit — after suffering what appears to be a drug OD that triggered a series of massive seizures.
Sources connected with the rapper tell us … Wayne is feeling weak but he’s a lot better. He plans on laying low until he makes a full recovery.
Doctors ran numerous tests and determined that this was most likely a onetime episode of which there are no conclusive results. (ABC News.)
Well that’s horrifying.
Best of health to both of them.
