William Shatner Covers David Bowie And It Is Not OK

You know how I am about David Bowie. He is sacred to me, and his masterpieces should, as a rule, be left alone. And yes, William Shatner, this rule applies to you, too.

  • Is this a put on. I strongly suspect it is. BTW David Bowie’s “Young Americans” album was recorded at “Sigma Sound” studios at 212 N. 12th Street in Philadelphia, PA. The producer was Joseph Tarsia. His son Michael was the engineer. Bowie was so painfully shy that he faced the wall while recording. He was too bashful to face anybody there.
As for Shatner , well good enough actor but his singing , at least to me, is the height of camp. I can’t imagine a stranger situation than David Bowie and Bing Crosby. Oh wait that really occurred on one of the Bing Crosby Christmas shows.
