Back in February Chris Harrison left his job as the host of ABC’s The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and whatever other mess he hosted for them.
The controversy driving him out was his supposed support for one contestant’s perceived racist behavior and since leaving we haven’t really heard from him at all.
No comes word that Chris has given out his final rose (eyeroll-whatever) and asked girlfriend Lauren Zima to marry him. He announced the news on Instagram.
“I love you @laurenzima,” Harrison – who popped the question with a diamond ring from McClave Jewelers – captioned a series of photos. “The next chapter starts now!”

Zima, 33, also shared pics from the big moment to her own account, along with a heartfelt tribute to Harrison.
“We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this,” the “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent gushed.
“You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you,” she continued. “Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest ?.”
