Katy Perry has turned a corner in life, and she’s gone from shooting whipped cream out of her tits to encouraging her fellow pop stars to cover up and put some clothes on. I have to say, I’m sort of with her on this, not because feminism doesn’t mean a woman can get ass naked whenever she so chooses but because the women who go down this route tend to begin to rely on it and end up being reduced only to the amount of “sexy” Instagram pics they can take. It’s not really a good look.
Anyhow, here’s what Katy had to say to NPR about it all:
“Everybody’s getting naked! I mean, I’ve been naked before but I don’t feel like I have to always get naked to be noticed. I’m not talking about anyone in particular, I’m talking about all of them! I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like, put it away.”
“We know you’ve got it. I got it too. I’ve taken it off here and there. And I’m not necessarily judging. I’m just saying, sometimes it’s nice to play that card but also it’s nice to play other cards. And I know I have that sexy card in my deck but I don’t always have to use that card.”
Ha. I mean, again, that does sorta seem like a dig at Rihanna and several other of her “friends” in the biz, but who knows, maybe she says this to them, too. And frankly, I’m sorta with what she’s saying… but I would be a terrible feminist if I didn’t just say, you know, live and let live. Everyone wear as much or as little as you want… just do it because that’s what YOU like, not what you think is going to sell records or make you more famous. Just… stick to making drunk karaoke videos or something?

No there isn’t anything wrong with nudity! Its just when its in your face 24/7 it looses its beauty and mistique! It’s like oh look……another naked pop star, that’s different!

If it is it’s because you’re looking too much for it on the EnterNot. There’s hundreds of starlets out there doing a little here and a little there sometimes it may bunch up and cross over buts it’s really only a little here & there. The ONLY Katy Cocktease is complaining is she CAN’T compete with them. Sure she has the big cans but the one accidental nudity she did in the water park wasn’t pretty. I heard nothing but how disappointed people were with what they thought would be a nice caboose being worse than KK’s and that was even the Radio Jocks talking.
The old saying “me thinks the lady duth protest too much” is in order here, if she can’t hang don’t complain!
This isn’t about having your natural body being seen..Lets not be so naive . These lady wouldn’t be getting naked if they were not in entertainment . Do they walk around there house naked , do they go to naked beaches ..I don’t think so . Ever picture i see seems staged and forced
