BREAKING: LENA DUNHAM LOOKS PRETTY!!!

IN A BOLD AND SHOCKING MOVE, LENA DUNHAM DID A COVER FOR MARIE CLAIRE UK — WHILE LOOKING PRETTY!! IS THE WORLD READY FOR THIS? ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO BE OKAY? THIS WILL SURELY DEVASTATE HATERS EVERYWHERE. IT’S LIKE SHE DIDN’T EVEN THINK OF THEM WHEN SHE DECIDED TO WEAR EYE MAKEUP!

Hopefully my sarcasm was made clear by that cavalcade of caps lock. Lena Dunham was Marie Claire UK‘s cover girl and she looks very pretty. How daring!!!

Of COURSE the article wastes no time talking about Lena’s body and her “killer confidence.” How sad is it that a woman without the desire to have a flat stomach = “killer body confidence”? Goddamn it, when is society going to let us rock a little belly? I’M WAITING. Here’s some exclusive body-loving quotes from the interview via Hollywood Life:

My parents both have really healthy attitudes about their own bodies but also about the range of things that can be beautiful. But they also just always made me feel pretty and cool and smart, even in the moments when I have known – and still know – that my body wasn’t fitting into a traditional Hollywood idea of the female body.

[…] This could very easily be taken out of context, and I think it’s funny now, but I remember looking in the mirror as a kid and it would be like for an hour at a time, and I’d be like: ‘I’m just so beautiful. Everybody is so lucky that they get to look at me.’ And of course that changes as you get older, but I may have held on to that little-kid feeling that was me alone in my bathroom.

I get exactly what she’s saying, and she’s right, it will easily be taken out of context because she has insane haters.

Photos from the magazine shoot are below. I think she looks really pretty but she needs to shut her damn mouth. This isn’t some weird way of me telling her she needs to shut up, I’m saying, she actually needs to keep her mouth closed for at least one photo.

  • She will drop the weight soon for a “role” or “health reasons” very soon. I will put money on it.
