That all being said, LeAnn Rimes‘ dress for the Awards? Is this her trying for “demure,” after what happened in the airport last week? Because if she’s going for “demure,” then yes, it worked out OK. If she’s going for “not crazy,” then I suggest maybe she pick a different dress next time around. Or, you know, a different face. Just not this one:

And because Leann wants Brandi to be happy, she used the red carpet of the ACAs to take more digs at Brandi. Did you see the comment she gave about how “someone keeps talking”? Leann is trying to look like Brandi. Why give an interview gloating about her great connection to Eddie and then show up in public dressed like Eddie’s ex-wife the next day?

The fact that Leann wasn’t nominated for any of these awards should make Leann realize that any publicity isn’t good publicity. Someone said that her single on top country songs on itunes went up 100 spots(from 290s to 190s) after the interview, but that could have been her and her pr people downloading the song to counteract the backlash(ie-See, look at all the new fans that Leann gained because of the interview.)

Something strange is going on with the media. They are really playing up the “Leann is the victim” angle and “Brandi is the bad guy” angle, which is odd because if you take a look at comments and the polls that isn’t what people think at all. So what accounts for this huge discrepancy between what the media is portraying and what people really think? Leann is paying the media to put a positive spin on any story about her. The majority of media outlets are just copying and pasting the fluffpiece from Leann’s mouthpiece and then putting a sunshine and rainbows title on it.

She looks like she’s gained weight. Fatty.
That should precipitate the wandering Cibrian-dong.

  3. crab says:

    Hate country music hate her!
