Love It or Leave It: And Then This is What Demi Lovato Looked Like at iHeartRadio

So, a headline I recently read about Demi Lovato at the iHeartRadio Festival screamed “Demi Lovato Dazzles at iHeartRadio Festival!” but I’m here to clear that up. Because no, no she did not. She actually looks pretty awful, and there’s nothing dazzling about it, unless you want to say, “I’m dazzled to diarrhea over this picture of Demi.” No, the only thing that could make this whole ensemble—too-heavy bangs, poor choice of blonde, chalky pancake makeup and all—worse would be Fez. On her arm. Leering at other girls when Demi‘s not looking. Then it’d be the perfect storm of “Ugh,” “What the f-ck,” and “Girl, go home and sleep it off.”

You guys saw Miley earlier today, and the response was pretty positive. Demi, however? What’s it going to be?

Moreover, who’d you rather? Here’s Miley, again, in case you need a refresher:

  • I agree that is not the right color blonde for her, but I think that dress is really really cute.

    • She wasn’t attacking her weight or body at all, she said she had bad hair and the makeup wasn’t done well. people don’t have eating disorders because of bad hair. I know its awesome to jump on the lets be enraged bus, but honestly your pushing it.

    • Yes, let’s not mock Charlie Sheen because he’s had substance abuse issues. Or, you know, Lindsay Lohan, because she’s apparently got some sort of mental disorder. Or Demi Moore, because she’s had a history of self-esteem issues that’s a mile long. Maybe we could put Rihanna on the list, too, because BOO she’s got a plethora of self-worth problems. Let’s not talk about the horrid fashion sense and makeup choices of anyone in Hollywood, because it might make them cry. While we’re at it, let’s do away with talking about celebrities altogether, because that’s just not nice. Sound good?

      • Yeah, it does sound good. People use the “well they’ve put themselves out there” excuse but people go overboard. They go beyond just bashing. You run to the defense of someone like Khloe Kardashian because you like her personality, but then you post stuff like this. I remember before everyone had a blog and everyone could create a website, celebrities weren’t this scrutinized.

It’s fine if you don’t like how she looks, that’s your opinion, but I couldn’t imagine reading something like this about myself.

Honestly, I think she looks good.

  • Sarah, I would have to say neither…. Honestly, if I ever got the chance to do either one, they would probably sing to me…. Then I would be forced to make them get on their knees and shove their face into the pillow…..

  • i’m an asshole, as the regulars here know, yet i think she looks GORGEOUS. i’m rooting for this girl. fuck yeah, demi, hot curves.

  • Completely unvalidated attack. Demi looks great. It must be a lame day at work for you to get so fired up about something like this…

  • cocopuffsaredlicious, i know she’s not attacking her weight BUT my point, which I should have articulated better, is that the girl has body image issues in general and will probably always have them and whether it’s attacking her weight or her hair or her dress or whatever, people with those kinds of issues probably take nasty comments personally. No one should be criticized for their appearance regardless if they’re suffering from an eating disorder or not or in the public eye or not PERIOD.

    • Any girl who looks like her should have “body image issues.” In fact, if she were my girlfriend, I’d keep her chained in the basement & feed her nothing but raw meat… SHES HIDEOUS!!!

    • If somebody is that sensitive to comments about their looks by others, then they should stop making “music”, get the fuck off television, get the fuck off the red carpet and get a telemarketing job. If you put yourself in the limelight, you have to take what comes with it.

And I think they both look fucking stupid.

  • And I would disagree that you have no idea why Dmei has an eating disorder, it could be because she just didn’t feel attractive at all at some point, which is hard to believe because Demi is beautiful. But everyone has something they aren’t happy with.

  • Who cares of Demi’s bangs aren’t the exact perfection for her face shape!? Everyone has either had a bad hair cut or the color shade they chose could have been better. Ohh wow the blonde is just a shade or two off for your liking, lol. Bottom line is she still looks pretty and her dress is mad cute. Her body shape is perfect, too. Who the F wants to be stick skinny with a butch ass hair cut wearing an ugly ass cropped, sleepless turtleneck? Shit is ugly as hell!

And Miley needs to stop trying so hard to be edgy. At least Demi doesn’t act like sheep following the herd by getting an oh so trendy tattoo of some nonsense written on her forearm, what a poser. What’s next? Adopting some foreign baby? Please. Definitely gossip about celebs and their personal lives, but quit kissing the asses of trendy posers like Miley who are trying so hard to be the next Rihanna/Megan Fox rolled into one when you have nice young girls like Demi, who actually seeks reatment for the flaws she owns up to. She’s realizes that healthy mind and body is important not only for herself but also for her young fans. Miley’s got this, “I don’t give a F” attitude and acts like she doesn’t owe her fans shit..

Yea that’s right, you both choose to be in the limelight so be ready for scrutiny but don’t forget that you are also role models to young women who don’t want to see disgusting weight loss, partying like an animal and the attitude and style of a stripper. Miley seems to want the attention and money from these young fans but then wants to wash her hands of them when she got it all..
