Guys, it’s happening: I think I’m falling for Miley Cyrus. I just think she’s really, really, real (and not Courtney Stodden-type “rill”), and totally genuine and transparent when it comes to living her life the way she chooses, so as long as it doesn’t hurt her or anyone else.
Miley’s the cover model for the September issue of Marie Claire, and during the interview she talked about her worst traits, living with Liam, keeping wedding plans in the future, and her classic engagement ring, and the more I hear (and read), the more I find myself admiring her and thinking she’s one of the best celebrities going these days.
Here’s Miley, talking to Marie Claire about that engagement:
“Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with. I don’t really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we’ve made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement.”
On the engagement ring:
“I just love that it’s old and has a story . . . and I’m happy because it doesn’t look like anything else I wear.”
Miley on how her relationship with Liam would never turn out like Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s:
“Neither of us is super-jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other.”
Oh Miley. Totally sweet, right?
*Can I tell you how crazy I am over the fact that we’re already getting September magazine covers in? Fall is, by far, the best time of the year, and September approaching in just three short weeks means that the most awesome things are coming up—football, Halloween, chilly air, Thanksgiving, Christmas … should I go on? Because I can—for quite awhile, too.
