Happy Father’s Day Peter. Our girls are so lucky to have a daddy like you! Hope you have a great day with them :)
So hey, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! And to all the single mothers out there who do the jobs of both mom and dad (and don’t even start—single fathers are also welcome to be wished a Happy Mother’s Day, too, so don’t even play that it’s like that)! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day and treating the special people in your life—or just yourself—to wonderful, wonderful things.
Up here we have a shining example of what it is to be a good person. Jennie Garth? Well, she’s Tweeting her soon-to-be ex-husband, Peter Facinelli, wishing him a Happy Father’s Day. Me, I don’t know if I’d be able to be as kind as Jennie is, especially if the cheating allegations were true and also, if I’d had the bad sense to marry a douchebag like Peter Facinelli to begin with. Luckily, neither is the case for me, so I don’t have to continue speculating over whether or not I’d be able to be cordial on a day such as this with a dude such as that, because I know if I really dug deep for the answer, I probably wouldn’t like it and neither would you.
Jennie and Peter’s fellow Twitter followers are also singing Jennie’s praises, saying that she’s a class act. Here’s some of the buzz:
you’re a classy lady. Always knew that but now everyone does.
And they are lucky to have such a lovely & classy mother too <3 Happy Fathers day peter!
I don’t know, guys. I’ve suspected it in the past, but maybe my fears are confirmed now—maybe I’m not such a classy lady after all, I don’t know.

It could also be read as a bit passive aggressive: “oohh our girls are SO LUCKY to have a CHEATING BASTARD like you for a Dad :)” I don’t know, I don’t think she meant it that way but I wouldn’t blame her if she did.
I think with Jennie, most of what she says can be taken at face value. I’m proud of her for having the maturity to see that he’s a very good dad even if he is a very bad husband.
However, I agree, I wouldn’t have blamed her if she’d gone the “woman scorned” route and completely burned him down. But the fact that she didn’t shows that she’s a better person than any of us.
I think these two will end of reconciling. He just needed a break to go off and bang some twilight groupies. Jennie will take him back with his tail inbetween his legs.
Sadly, I disagree. And I’m not saying this as a guy who has a crush on Jennie, I actually hoped the two could have worked it out, but the thing I know about people like Jennie is that although they may have feelings after the split and do everything they can to make a relationship work, they do NOT take someone back who left them. Something tells me that if he came crawling back to her she’d say something like “I’m sorry to do this to you, but when you left me, you left me for a reason, and you’ll just leave me for that same reason again, no matter whose fault it was. You should have realized this when I tried and tried to make it work. I just can’t put myself, our girls, and you through that all over again. It just wouldn’t be right. But there’s no reason we can’t be best friends”. But Jennie has a good heart so she won’t completely leave him out in the cold, she’d help him try to move on.
Jennie is such a wonderful person. She goes out of her way to do great things for people. And I wouldn’t have blamed her one but if she’d turned into a darkly misanthropic Nietzsche-wannabe that enjoyed others’ pain and suffering after the stuff she’s been through. A lesser person would have turned into that. But she did it AND with the pressure of having to keep up an image. I had to take a leave of absence on my radio show (I play a comedy character, a parody of the tough-guy bully DJ and I spoof those stupid call-in contests by making EVERYBODY a loser, when I get back on the show you oughta check it out) when some family members died. I just wish she wasn’t always so hard on herself, she’s called herself “worthless and trivial” before. I don’t know why she’d even feel that way after all the good she does people. I really look up to her.
