3Here’s a Moving Amy Winehouse Tribute (Not Like That Cheap Bruno Mars Tribute That I Dislike So Much)

Oh sadness. I’m not even going to go on a long-winded diatribe about how awful it is that we lost Amy Winehouse – a visionary, a musical magician – because it’s all been said before, so I’m just going to let this here little video speak for itself. It’s moving, it’s poignant – it’s Amy in the prime of her life and her career. Yeah, she’s a little on the thin side, and yeah, all of these scenes were probably filmed while Amy was descending into the long, horrible journey known as drug and alcohol addiction, but we can look at these clips and appreciate Amy for who she was musically – an innovator (even if I’m not a huge fan of ‘Our Time Will Come’ itself).

It is so sad and such a waste that her life was overtaken with drugs. She was a favorite of mine.

There will never be another Amy, she was amazing and I will always play her music. So sad that we lost her. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
