Sarah! I used to recreate Dirty Dancing scenes with Barbies. <3 Solidarity!
Swayze's widow is a mighty strong woman.
Seriously. Way stronger than I could ever be!
I’m sure all the good memories that she has of them has gotten her through these past couple of years. I think she recognizes how lucky she was to have had such a good man and a strong relationship. I think it must be hard for her to be apart from him but I think when there are such good memories sustaining her that she’s probably getting by okay…
Lisa and Patrick were as close to perfect for one another as any couple could hope to be. They really seemed to be “soul mates” and I can’t even begin to imagine how torn she must have been when they invited her to the debut. To pose with his wax figure as she did took tremendous strength and grace. I couldn’t do it! I read their book just after Patrick’s death and the way he expressed his feelings for Lisa was so powerful that it moved me to tears–several times. It kept reminding me of Sam’s line as he was ascending at the end of “Ghost”…’it’s amazing….all the love…..you take it with you…’.
I love the dress she is wearing. Anyone know who the designer is?
