Quotables

“I haven’t done Botox. I don’t like all that facial stuff. It scares me. You see these people who have had it, and they all look the same. I just don’t think I should go that way, especially at 43. I think I should just age. I’ve never been the prettiest person, and I don’t feel I need to chase youth.”

Pamela Anderson inadvertently speaks coherently, and makes a valid point, too. (And no, I’m not railing on her because she said she’s “never been the prettiest person” — that’s just not even the point here.)  Good job on fighting the sexualized machine that perpetuates the fabled fountain of youth!

(But comb your hair, girl.)

  • Hmm, I feel like she partially said that to get pity and people who say, “No, Pamela…you’re gorgeous! I wank it to you daily.” Also I think the unkempt hair was a strategical move – just rolled out of bed look, therefore making men fantasize about her again. LOL

  • All that may be true. I don’t live under a tanning bed, do blow, smoke cigarettes, or even stay up late, or take pills, or smoke dope, or anything. I’m several years older than Pam and look many, many years younger. It’s annoying because I’ll go to a club w/my 22 year old daughter and people’s first reaction to her is: “is this your new boyfriend?” until they see the family resemblance.

On the other side, I remember 13 years ago seeing a gal I hadn’t seen in 16 years. I looked RIGHT AT HER and did NOT recognize her AT ALL. That’s what crappy food, booze, drugs, cigs and “poor maintenance” does to a body – and face. For all you twenty somethings out there, put down the beer, the joint, the Hostess Ding-Dong, and look carefully in the mirror.

There’s no magic or secret here. Except “Just Say No”.

    • That’s creepy, you go clubbing with your daughter? A lot of people don’t smoke/do dope etc and still age badly.. you’re either lucky or lying.
